I thought Jose would be with us at the end of this season. I wasn't wrong. We've got a Jose. Jose Bosingwa that is. FC Porto's official website confirms that the 25-year old right back is pending only medicals at Chelsea. The price is 15.8 million pounds. The news is still not published in the official Chelsea website.

Chelsea chasing David Villa

Once again, Chelsea seem to be trying to sign David Villa. With both Shevchenko and Drogba wanting to go to the Milan clubs, we need a world class striker who can partner Anelka. Kalou is still very young and is not really world class at the moment though he shows some promise and potential. For [...]

AC Milan claim Ronaldinho & Shevchenko signings

Saturday, April 12, 2008

AC Milan’s vice president Galliani says that Ronnie and Sheva have almost become Milan players. Somethings are very common between these two players right? Both are legends, both are not in their prime, both have reportedly strained relationships with their managers and both badly need an escape route. One difference is, Sheva is not dating [...]

Some quick round up. The big rumour involves Drogba, Messi and Kaka. It is said that Chelsea would be ready to give Drogba to Barca or Milan provided Messi or Kaka is part of the deal. Also Chelsea are reported to have valued Drogba at 40 million. That’s way too much for Drogba!

Chelsea sign Branislav Ivanovic

Tuesday, January 15, 2008

More good news. Within a week of signing Anelka, Chelsea has signed Serbian captain Branislav Ivanovic from Lokomotiv Moscow for £9 million. Until recently I knew of only one Ivanovic who is now playing in the Australian Open. Our man is 23 years old, plays anywhere in defence and has a decent scoring rate for [...]

After two full days in the transfer window, we are still dealing with rumours and teasing interviews. There is every chance that a lot can be settled this weekend. It appears that we are going to strengthen the attack more than the midfield or defence.

Avram must have started the countdown for the winter transfers a few months back. I don’t think Chelsea needs all four weeks of the winter transfer window. Given our preparedness and ACN absences, Grant might want to get the signings done pretty soon. He should have all the support from Roman because that’s what I’d [...]

Daniel Alves Dying To Join The ‘Happy Family’

In a nutshell, Alves is pleading with Sevilla for a Chelsea move. Quite familiar, isn’t it? Replace Alves with Malouda and Sevilla with Lyon, you’d get it. If it ends the same way, lots to cheer about. For that to happen, may be Robben should be shown the door. Many of us have given up [...]

Why Do You Need To Buy A Right Back?

Thursday, July 12, 2007

Why do we have to buy a right back? Was our right back terribly poor or committed blunders? Was it because of the right back or the lack of back ups for the right back that we lost the Premiership and the Champions league last season? I don’t think you’d say yes. Then why are [...]

January transfers: Who do you want in/out?

Time for shopping. When the transfer window closed in August, I had a feeling that we have the best team in Europe. Now, around Christmas time, I think we can still make use of the transfer window. I realise that our team may be better than most teams in competition but still there seems to [...]
