Are we third time lucky? That does not quite explain how we were able to overcome Liverpool this time. If you ask me, what made the difference was that the key players such as Drogba, Lampard and Essien rose to the challenge and were determined not to get eliminated in front of their crowd that has never seen their team in tears, for seasons. I mean those cement sacks!

BBC reports that Avram Grant may not choose Terry and Lampard for the League Cup final on Sunday against Tottenham at Wembley. This sounds strange because there was a widespread belief that they did not play against Olympiakos, only to rest well for this final.
