What’s my name? BC is fine with me! I personally don’t like the idea of disclosing too much information about myself in the internet. So, let me introduce myself within this framework. Most of you might know that I’m from/in India and I’m 29-yr old qualified professional accountant working for a bank. At office, I manage a team of more than 20 people and that’s how I get to realise/understand the people management issues the football managers can face. At home, I live with my family which consists of my parents, wife and my 2 year old angel.
Like most of the Indian football fans, I get to see English Premier League more than any other league. So, there is a massive chance for an Indian football fan to be a supporter of Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs / Everton/ WestHam etc in this order. How and when did I become a Chelsea fan? I’m not going to say that I’ve been following Chelsea for 15 years and Zola is my favourite player etc because that would be a lie. I started following Chelsea only after Roman came in. I’m not sure from which moment I became a fan as such. Also I admire Jose Mourinho, his genius and even his arrogance. People do make fun of me that I’m a plastic fan, but I’d shrug them off. If I wanted to support only successful teams, my Indian cricket team did not give too many happy moments but I’ve experienced the best and worst with them. Or I’d have supported Pete Sampras instead of being an Andre Agassi fanatic through his roller coaster career.
As a heavy internet user I realised that Chelsea has very little online presence when compared to its rivals. There were not too many Chelsea blogs around and only a few but populated forums. But forums can never be like blogs right? So, I just started this blog one day with no great expectations but I hope most of you would feel that Chelsea fans do have a place to come to, for discussing, arguing, chatting, debating - all things Chelsea and football.
I run this blog only out of passion. I work for about 10 hours in office and then about 2-3 hours on the internet everyday which includes the time I spend on this blog. I understand that there are a lot of expectations from you about many new things. The fact of the matter is that this blog is run by one individual who has a day job and a family and earns zilch out of this blog. Of course there would be some limitations and restrictions. I still would call this blog a success. If the readership and participation increases in the next few months, I’d consider much more technical upgradations. For now, enjoy your stay in the blog and keep visiting!

Hi…I am Manish from India….I support Chelsea from the first day I started following EPL….honestly speaking I am not sure why and how it happened because I really disliked the way Chelsea played and still do so…..but I kept watching EPL only for Chelsea matches (really not sure why) and in due course I found that I have become a Chelsea supporter…may be its what they call love at first sight….

I’m Adonis Agha, and I’m 18. I, like Giridhar, have been a Man U hater since the late 90’s and then I moved to the US where I couldn’t get any soccer games on TV, so I lost contact, but not love, of the sport. I tried the internet, but it’s not very good, hearing about a fantastic Chelsea squad that’s whooping everyone, and not seeing it. The first game I saw, after I got the soccer subscriptions for my TV, was Chelsea’s 3-0 match against Manure to win the title (when Rooney broke his foot), and I’ve been a Chelsea fan ever since. I envy those of you who’ve been Chelsea fans all your lives and who know the club history inside and out, but it’s alright. I try to learn as much as I can about this fantastic club all the time.

Great post mate. Like you, I don’t like to disclose to much personal info, so call me SpecialOne.
Me? I am from Australia, 17 and love watching the good old Chels’ play. To be honest I haven’t supported Chelsea for that long, thus I am often on the receiving end of the “band-wagon” slurs. But I proclaim my innocence from their insults, as I was not aware of such band-wagon when I began supporting! Being in Australia it is hard to watch every game due to most of them being shown in the earliest hours of the morning and half not being shown on TV (doesn’t stop me watching them elsewhere .. muahaha). Nevertheless I follow every move by the club with huge interest and can’t wait to see us tackle the new season. KTBFFH!

Hi Guys,
My name is Fifi. I am from Ghana. I am 40 years. Never initially thought much about the english game. In fact I thought it was crap and started following only when my favourite italian players started arriving. since Chelsea were the favourite destination, i started developing interest in chelsea. coincidentally, the Azzuris are my favourite national squad and have been since i first followed live world cup matches in 1978. since Chelsea were also were blue like Italy, the love grew more intense. juventus, was still my number one. but over the past five years Chelsea has even outpaced my favourite local team, Accra Hearts of Oak. I love the blues with a passion. I love Mourinho for his directness, his confidence and his ability to withstand all the hate. Chelsea is the future of football- My cup is now full because since the arrival of essien a couple of seasons back, support for Chelsea in Ghana has completely outpaced that of Arsenal and Man U. Blue is the colour.

My name is Suraj, currently living in Northwest of England orginally come from London!!. Been a blues fan since knee high, every time I go back home I always past the bridge which is a welcoming sight to see. My favourite blues player in this time has to be the mighty Essien (I haven’t seen a player for the blues that gives so much on the pitch for a single team).

My name is Maysam. I have been supporting Chelsea from the game in which Gianfranco Zola missed a penalty (Italy-Germany), I do remember Kopke was Germans goal keepers then. I think it was 1996.
I am always talking about soccer and Chelsea. My friends think I am insane, and call me ‘Mr. Chelsea’ at work and university.
I am good at analyzing games because I worked for a professional team in Iran (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAS_Tehran_F.C.). I helped their manager to analyze games by computer and prepare power point for players.
I love Vialli , Zola , Cudicini and Mourinho the most.
I am also good soccer player, I have played for my high school and university team. I have won a cup with my university team. My friends say I play like Makelele but faster. By the way my position is defensive midfielder.
I am that kind of fan who don’t hide tears, I usually cry for soccer games , specially CL. My first cry was for Zola, his lap of honor.
I start my day by checking http://www.Chelseafc.com and this website and some sports websites.
That’s me.

Hey guys , i am Jyotirmay from India , i m 17 and studying at Delhi University , and i too started out as a Manure hater , which brought me closer to CFC , since 2001 i hav regularly followed the teams progress , but the last four seasons hav been a revolution , a Chelsea revolution , as Roman and Jose hav built this world-beating team , i do not blindly follow anyone and hav indulged in a lot of management and games of football , with indepth research as well!!!!
Most people on this blog or visiting this blog hate me , and cant help but take a swipe at me , but it does not even make me flinch as i hav struggled my way all life, which is why i luv CFC , the struggle and then the prize , anyone who i hav ever abused or embarrased i m really sorry , its never personal , its just that hot-streak that goes with me , but Chelsea is my life , my inspiration , my passion , a hope for the weak and struggling to rise up and fight the ones dominating , True Blue forever!!!!
Thanx BC for this wonderful blog , i too hav worked a lot in this computers field and i kno how difficult , time-consuming and hard-work takes its toll , but iam always there for every CFC supporter!!!

Hello, I am Alex from Boston Massachusetts; Age 32. I started following Chelsea at the start of last season. I finally got Fox Soccer Channel and a DVR so I can now follow the English game. I liked Chelsea as an “Anti Man-U”. I also like their international roster. I went to my first game at the Bridge in May (The unfortunate 2-2 draw to Bolton). I loved the atmosphere in the stadium.

Hiya there everyone ,
I’m RomanHoliday presently in Mandalay,Burma. I have been a Chelsea supporter and proud member of the bandwagon since…… I forget the dates altho I have always liked Zola and Torre Andre Flo , And the Swede also whose name I do not remember. I became a committed Chelsea fan afterwe lost to Monaco in CL semi -final,picture me gritting my teeth and swearing at Morientes. I had to buy friends a lot of beers when once I bet against Chelsea and Jimmy Floyd smacked in a hat-trick… but that hasn’t yet since JM
arrived.
I am fat -middle aged and bespectacled, have horrible grammar and usually write in this blog when drunk so sometimes I can be incomprehensible.
I work for an oil company and try to manage a bunch of hooligan engineers and technicians who are mostly Manure fans so I must be very careful not to upset them too much ( like when I flip flopped on the carpet on the FA win night) and the team spirit at work altho I have CFC stickers in my cubicle and wallpaper on my PC.
I appreciate BC’s work on the blog and will always remember the welcome that he and Blue58 gave me the first few times I visited the blog. JoeBlue after a mighty spat with me, is my best friend on the blog and I hope the rest of you will be too soon.
I enjoy using pseudo-fruedian pychiatric ,psycho babble to anaylze and bait any wayward fans of Manure,Arsey or Liverpuddle who happen to insult us in this blog.
Swede’s name is jesper..cannot spell the rest…. sker.
Cheers . BC, Joe Blueand all

Figure I’d introduce myself here. My name’s Dave, I’m 21 years old, and I’m from Hammersmith, West London. I was brought up as a Chelsea fan by my dad, him by his dad, and so forth. I count myself lucky, living so close to Stamford Bridge I’m able to watch my beloved Chelsea play when I can (money permitting, that is), and obviously being from England there is extensive coverage of the Premiership.
I started viewing this blog about a month ago, but have only started to get involved within it, so I raise my glass to everything blue, and yourself Blue_Champion :o)

Dan, 18 yo from Reston, VA, USA. I’ve been supporting Chelsea since 2004. It’s funny, but I started following Chelsea before I started following EPL, Europe, or even the MLS with much depth. I liked Drogba and Cech and Mourinho and after that I was hooked.
My ambition for the near future is to get straight A’s in college and make a pilgrimage to Stamford Bridge to see my beloved Blues play on their home ground.

Like BC I have to admit I did not follow Chelsea until after Roman arrived, but I watched Chelsea in the Champions League in 2004/2005 and immediately was taken by the spirit of the Blues. At any rate, I enjoy discussing soccer (football) with fellow fans, and that’s what I hope to do here.

Hey, my name is Graham, and I live in Florida, USA.
I grew up in a football (american football) town, but I always loved and wanted to play soccer (real football). I played in high school, and at college, and now I play in community leagues.
I mostly just watched World Cup Football since 1998, sometimes I see an MLS game and they are getting better. After the 2006 World Cup, I decided to learn more and follow European games. I found a game on television and it was Chelsea vs. Werder Bremen (2-0), and many of my favorite World Cup players were with Chelsea, so I was a supporter from then. I tend to support/follow players more than teams, but if there is a team I support it is Chelsea.
