Chelsea travel to JJB Stadium, Wigan on Saturday 17th December, it is a must win situation if they want to remain 3rd, all the supporters are hoping the form from the Manchester City match and previous matches carry’s on if it does so I’m almost certain of a win.
After a win on Monday night against unbeaten Manchester City (only in premier league), they were back into the title race and back to winning ways, Chelsea played a high line for about 10-15 minutes and conceded in the first 2 minutes but they did play a little bit deeper as the game come along – this worked and they didn’t concede one again. The game against Manchester City was a action packed game – Manchester City claimed they should of had a penalty but clearly David Silva dived. Chelsea’s Lampard scored from the penalty spot to win Chelsea the game and keep them in the title race
Predicted Chelsea Line-Up: (433) Cech, Cole, Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic, Romeu, Ramires, Meireles, Mata, Torres, Sturridge.
David Luiz returns from his one match ban and is likely to start, Ivanovic can now move back to a position he is more familiar in which is RB. Andre Villas-Boas has hinted Torres may start against Wigan after being on the bench for the past few games, but he may not want to change a winning team we’ll just have to wait and see. Lampard is also set to be benched again despite scoring the winning goal on Monday night.
A win is vital in a game like this, the title race is 100% back on and Chelsea cannot afford to drop any more points at a time like this,the title race is tight a loss would put Chelsea back to square one, come on Chelsea get a win!

David Silva definately did dive but still probably should’ve got a penalty, Bosingwa clearly caught him late. I suppose in a situation like that its difficult to give a penalty or a card for diving so I guess Clattenburg just opted for the easy thing and gave neither.
We should play Drogba as much as we can till he leaves for the ANC. So I think we should not risk starting with Torres, cause if we do not score 2 or 3 early on, Wigan will play more aggressive. On the other hand its Wigan….

As I’ve stated in both my posts, blue is currently away and I’m extremely busy myself just bare with us and hopefully we can get the readers back, regulars. Within the week I won’t be busy myself so I can do regular articles and blue is back within the week so just give us some time, be patient please all.
I would rather have Drogba instead of Torres, we need to get the best out of Drogs before he leaves for the African Cup! And i hope Lampsy and Meireles can get equal playtime, both are equally good! At the back i would prefer Terry and Alex while Branny goes to the right, Luiz can be a substitute and he can play in the midfield. I really don’t like the idea of selling Alex!
There is this one disturbing news regarding Cheik Tiote. Is it true that we are chasing him? He is a decent player, a tough tackler and a sharp shooter but we don’t really need him. We have Romeu, Ramires, Meireles, Lampsy and Mikel, and soon Essien will be back! And Luiz can play in the midfield too! What we really need is a winger and Van Der Wiel and may be Subotic!

Contrary to the others (some of them), I like this type of article, as it is probably not possible for you to write more. Looking forward to more proper analysis as it seems it could be a good one from you. Keep on guys, this blog has been run perfectly for quite a while, so it can slow down a bit now.
As for the lineup, I think – and hope – AVB will give some time to other players, as there is another difficult match against Tottenham coming in midweek and it would be good to give some players a bit rest. I slightly hope Ryan Bertrand will be started ahead of AC to get some more first-team football experience. Pity Josh McE probably won´t get a start, but it is quite important to give our new midfield trio (MRR) as much time as possible to play together. At the front, Torres and Sturridge are all right. Maybe Mata could be given a rest, but I don´t think it will happen.
