The date is 24th of April 2010. Chelsea have just won the premier league title in front of their home fans by beating Stoke City 4-0. Elsewhere, Manchester City have dismantled Arsenal at the Emigrants Stadium with a 3-1 scoreline. The Sky reporter asks the Arsenal manager, whose team is 15 points behind league winners Chelsea: “Arsene, where does this leave you now?”. Arsene responds, “Well, we need to keep the faith. We showed good spirit and mentality. We dominated the possession and we were only lacking a bit of sharpness. But we keep improving which is good. Chelsea can still drop points between now and the end of the season. So you never know”. Sky reporter finally responds, “Wake up, you stupid c***”.
For me, there’s nothing better in football than seeing Chelsea thump Arsenal. That’s right on top. That’s the summit. Any manager who does that for Chelsea and any player who guides us to do that gets my respect. People wonder why I hate Arsenal so much. I must say I find it strange when I see people who don’t despise them. They are pretenders. They are show ponies. Yet they (manager, players & fans) think that they are the Gods of football and the others are just rugby tacklers with no skill. And they sometimes very openly belittle the other teams. See what Wenger said about Aston Villa last month and every team that he couldn’t beat.
I was impressed with Ancelotti’s team selection. In fact, he had picked the very same eleven that I wanted him to pick. No place for Deco or Joe Cole in the first team. Ballack was important to break down their attacks while someone like Mikel is always pure gold against Arsenal. I was hoping that we play 4-3-3 but we played our diamond. Arshavin again played in the striker role, even after saying ‘if Arsenal want to be champions, how can they select me as the striker’. Meanwhile the once-natural striker Theo ‘Treadmill’ Walcott was in the wing. Anyway, I no longer fear Arshavin. Of late, he’s been shite. He’s lost his heart. He’s upset and feels hopeless. All this shows in his football. I was hoping that Clichy starts as I knew that’s where we’ll get our goals.
Chelsea going 2-0 up by half time was not a surprising thing for those who have been following premier league. As soon as we went ahead, I thought we’ll smash them with another couple of goals. But we didn’t. Instead we chose to let them have the ball. The key is ‘we chose’ to let them have the ball. We let them have the ball so we can exploit their fatal defensive weakness which would surely surface a few times in a span of 90 minutes. And especially after going up 2-0 against a city rival, why would play in any other way? Arsene Wenger said in his post match interview that they (Arsenal) were the better team on the pitch. That’s being either a complete idiot or a cunning politician. The fact is, Chelsea never had to get beyond their first gear while Arsenal where throwing everything at us. Chelsea didn’t have to try too hard to beat Arsenal.
The smile on John Terry’s face is back. His header to assist Drogba for the first goal was brilliant. And Drogba’s movement to get into that position was also class. And what can I say about the second goal. Arshavin lost the ball and was simply watching Lampard run with it. Frank ran for about 40 yards completely uninterrupted or unchecked. When Lampard gave it to Drogba on the right wing, I was expecting Drogba to cross it in. Such was Drogba’s confidence, against Arsenal defence in particular, he feinted and dummied his way in and blasted one to the near post to send me crazy. Did you notice that as the ball was travelling in, Almunia had closed his eyes! It’s a shame that Drogba couldn’t get his hattrick. He was a bit unfortunate with the free kick hitting the bar while Almunia had written it off with no effort. Look, if it’s not already, it is official now – Arsenal are Drogba’s bitch.
Ashley Cole was so close to scoring a goal against his ex-club. Lampard and Anelka also missed some opportunities. I thought Anelka was not sharp enough for the occasion and must have been subbed much earlier. As we always do with Arsenal, we bossed the midfield. We dictated the pace of the game and what happened on the pitch. I was particularly impressed with Lampard’s effort. Always fighting for the ball and always putting pressure on the opposition. Arsenal also had a few chances but our defence was mostly perfect and if they let anything in, Petr Cech was there like a rock. The left-handed save that he made to prevent a Bendtner shot was top class anticipation. Ivanovic did leave his zone unattended a few times but Arsenal could not really exploit that space.
The performance by John Obi Mikel today is something the no-longer-young, over-rated, over-paid chicks at Arsenal should take note of. Mikel joined us with a reputation. He had his teenager moments of his career but he has worked hard. He wasn’t thrown at the premier league and champions league just to prove a point. He was instead made to work hard for his spot in the team. His only ticket to the first team was consistent performance. In a team that had Makelele and has players like Essien, Lampard and Ballack, he knew that he had to be really really good to make it. I must I was so so pleased with his performance today. This is exactly how you ‘develop’ a player.
The spot light was on John Terry today too. This was his first match at home since the Vanessa story broke out and the first game since he was removed from England captaincy. How did he do? Bloody great! He was at his as always. Last season he had a patch were Carvalho and Alex were above him on merit. This season he is well and truly back. For me, one of the greatest sights in football is John Terry launching himself horizontally like a rocket, to make a clearance. I saw that today too.
No one can say this man is going through a personally traumatic period. A round of applause to the home crowd that supported him all through the match and nice of him to recognise that by giving his shirt. We expect Terry to be able to play as well as he has, irrespective of what’s going on with him. That’s because of what he is. We are a team of top professionals. We’ve seen Chelsea players play on top of their game like they had no personal lives, even through the tough times.
Okay, trivia question time. At the end of the match which manager said this: “I am completely happy with the performance and the spirit”. I’m sure you’ll get the wrong answer. The answer is Arsene Wenger. After the match, very predictably, Wenger said they dominated the game and all that nonsense. All I can say is he is lying. He is lying to himself and also to the Arsenal fans. Who would in their right mind say that Arsenal dominated Chelsea today? Here is Carlo Ancelotti’s ‘fantastic’ response to the comments from short-sighted Arsene Wenger.
Maybe Arsenal had more possession than us but this is not football, football is attack and defence as well as keeping possession when you need to, and results also. We deserved to win because you when you are two goals up it is important to do counter-attack and we did fantastic counter attack. It was an unbelievable second goal – fantastic movement, fantastic passing and fantastic shooting by Didier. This is football. We did fantastic defensive work because when it is 2-0 and you go to score more it is normal to have to defend. We did fantastic work together for 90 minutes and it was a very good performance. Sometimes you have to show attacking play and sometimes you have to defend.
Half a dozen ‘fantastics’ in one paragraph is a bit too much. Someone should help him with magnificent, superb, amazing, stupendous, scintillating, mind-blowing, astounding, astonishing etc. Hope he gets to use these for the rest of the season. If I were Carlo I’d have said that ‘We didn’t even have to get off our first gear. It turned out to be an easy match’. Let’s remember that Arsenal were gearing up for a reaction since they were thumped by Man Utd last week while we had to play an away game mid-week. Wenger is the worst loser in football. He loses so often but hasn’t learned how to be honest and graceful at defeat. Ignore his comments and let’s hail Carlo. He gets a 10/10 in my books for team selection, tactics, substitution and his fantastic response to Wenger.
So, we’re back on top. Only today, only now, I realise that there are only 13 games to go. I mean, we’re getting so close to the finish line, aren’t we? Out of this 13 matches, we have Everton (A), Man City (H), Aston Villa (H), Man Utd (A), Tottenham (A) and Liverpool (A). That’s six toughies plus the relegation battlers’ last round of fights. We just need to keep winning – 13 wins would do. Good news is, Man Utd have a similar run-in. With the kind of form we’re in, we’re certainly allowed to turn our hopes into expectations. For now, enjoy the win!
By the way, did you send that text message out: “yo alex, we’d been ‘battered’, just as you wanted . . .”

We were 2 – 0 up by 25 minutes, so there was no need to play offence actually. That way we saves our legs. Hats off to Carlo today. His tactics was brilliant. Mikel and Cech had a great game as well.
What a day for Cech to get his 100th clean sheet for chelsea..that was brilliant from him.
Great read.
Almost as enjoyable as the game itself.
Very insightful analysis BC. This game was a real pleasure to watch. Still much work to be done
to win the PL and Champs Lg but at least we’ve disposed of our arch-rival with an aggregate 5-0 this season.
It gives me goose pimples just thinking about it.
the tactic was a good one, but i can’t help but feel cech kept us in it. Maybe we didn’t need more goals, but we still should of pushed for the third, then we could have given players more rest and others more minutes.
The second goal was a beaut, really well worked by drogba, I hope he will pull out these kinds of performances against inter, we’ll need them
great article, sums it up perfectly.
one great moment was when malouda and vermalen smashed heads together.. malouda didn’t even notice and the hardest guy in their squad fell about all over the place. Blood dripping down his face, he’s just like ‘get up you wufter’. Not saying it didn’t hurt or that we don’t have drogba, but lol i thought it was a great representation of the two teams characters.
mikel, lampard, cech, terry were all brilliant.
ballack was great too, i think malouda was perhaps a little below his good standards recently, but had a great work rate. Anelka perhaps too, if we didn’t have drogba he really would be our star striker, such a shame! has to be a good thing to have his striking prowess in reserve whenever drogba gets injuried or whatever though.
You are spot on BC!We didnt need to play in any other way after going 2-0 up.If we had,it would have been a cricket score.Again CA got everything right for this match.Credit to him as well.Very professional performance and its great to see the smile back of JT’s face.
BTW,Matt Damon was at the Bridge yesterday. So now he is a Blue too!!
Dear BC,
I could relive the lovely 95 minutes all over again, thanks to your intricately embroidered article of gold threads on silk cloth! Thanks to Chelsea for giving you this chance, thanks to Carlo, and most importantly to the headless 11 or so brats led by a whiner (oh, a displaced “n” with a longer handle makes all the difference)!
My little view:
I have missed the first 7 minutes of the match due to some unavoidable tasks, i seldom miss any minute of Chelsea’s match. Hope i didn’t miss much in that!
Drogba:
I would firstly like to remind all the kindred spirits that Drogba loves arsenal, yes he does, “truly, madly, deeply”! And without a doubt he is MoTM and i am sure he will always be the MoTM against arsenal! Goner defenders were afraid when he came bombarding their arsenal (???) with thunderous cannon balls! I am sure the goners lost their balls seeing fearsome Drogba, that is if they got any! Drogba easily shook them off and traumatised them, i am sure they are still in that state! Bit unlucky that Drogba’s well-struck free kick found the crossbar otherwise his dream (of scoring a hat trick) against his favourite opponent would have been realised! I hail thee, Mister Terminator and congratulate you for the superb display of football. I am sure Drogba would have touched 30+ goals had it not been for his dry tryst with ACN!
Ivanovic:
While almost all our players had a great game, i was bit disturbed with Ivanovic. He made few wrong decisions and lost good balls easily at crucial times. And his foul while trying to protect marauding Riccy was too cheap, the best he could have done was try to run after Riccy thereby blocking (correctly) the arsenal kid and letting Riccy to make a great cross, i just feel that this was one of Riccy’s best chances from his numerous attacks, sad that Ivanovic wasted it! I am sure our strong Serb will bounce back and be at his usual best once again but surely he was worse than what he was against Hull City. But Ivanovic is so strong, he takes what looks like a very painful body check but swiftly gets on his feet and running!
The team:
Cech was very decisive in leaving his goal line, a great development! He did well with ashravin’s shot and his agility against bentdner! Ashley Cole had a superb game, and almost scored a goal (i was wondering how would he celebrate his goal). Terry is simply the best captain any football team can have, and he proved it right on the sorry-face of England football squad! Riccy’s partnership with Terry is simply second to none’s! I just love the telepathic connection between the two. And yesterday, Riccy was so agile and fluid that i mistook him that he was in his mid-twenties! Mikel was cool (sometimes too cool), his dribbling had improved a lot, so was his tackles, but his passes were bit worrying. Ballack had a decent game save for few lapses, he was good with his strong stature! Lampsy displayed numerous awesome passes, pin-point long balls and great desire to win the ball. His assist to Drogba was spot on! Malouda keeps on pleasing me, few months back i was against him, but i just love this guy now. He is very much a team player and his tackles were great, took that head clash like a cuppa! Nico wasn’t really his fluent self, may be Drogba clouded him but i just loved Le Sulk’s peaceful nature and willingness to support his co-striker even if it is to play out of position! Nico is a a perfect team player and a gentleman. I loved his communication with Lampsy on a free kick, he just couldn’t quite connect the ball otherwise we would have seen one of the best goals of the season (straight from the training ground, i guess).
Substitutions:
Zhirkov coming from the bench is always a promising sight, and he did well today too. And fairly he was better than Ballack who started to make a mistake here and another there!
Joey on for Nico was a very good decision too but i think our boss took bit too long to take Nico off.
And bringing his younger compatriot on was mainly to save Drogba from some unnecessary injuries that shameless goners would be plotting. This decision into the injury time was spot on because it is also to take precious seconds off and also to give enough time for Drogba for hat trick!
The booing:
I just couldn’t understand why the goners booed Terry, they almost got paid like Burnley fans (burnt), they were almost arsed (pun intended) with that cool assist to Drogba! May be they booed him because arsenal gave them nothing to cheer at and obviously they couldn’t cheer us, so booing Terry was their next-best option. At the end of the game, i called my friend (a goner!), he rejected my call, he couldn’t and didn’t have the guts to answer it, that is a goner, a true one!
Carlo Ancellotti:
CA is the abbreviation of his name and also it is for the ‘Counter Attack’! Our boss said that he would and could catch arsenal on CA’s and this is what he did on the pitch. I am just too impressed by our boss that i have heaped tons of respect towards him. This man is a class and he is pleasing us more than what we expected, not that we don’t deserve it. I love this hero.
Some priceless moments:
1. Carlo Ancelottis’ celebration of Drogba’s second goal!
2. Drogba’s own celebration of his second goal (like he said sometimes it is important to pay back to the the boss & co. who had done so much for him and the team)
3. Terry’s gift of shirt and armband (first time i guess) to the fans! (an analogy to throwing away English armband?)
4. Fourth official’s body language to A Whiner!
5. Steve McMohan’s post match wisdom: “same old thing, lovely football” and i agree it is just, “lovely football”, JUST!
6. Matt Damon’s celebrating with us! He is “a Tottenham-hating Chelsea fan”!!! (footballblips.dailyradar.com)
7. Sweet message on a t-shirt for Chelsea;
8. Terry kissing the badge on his shirt;
9. Drogba making cesc look like a whining little brat (cesc’s cry-baby face antics with the referee), and Lampsy’s cynical smile at the linesman was awesome;
10. Whiner’s malfunctioning zipper!
11. Terry, after taking a hit on his thigh, waiting till the game is out of play (cesc on the ground) to get treatment, this is how a leader should be, living through pain and making it appear like nothing, this is the leadership and only a true man like Terry does it, not some fags called rewoo or stepee! and
12. Waking my daughter up when i blasted the TV volume so high on Drogba’s brace (i loved my wife’s mixture of “that crazy guy” and “annoyance” look in her eyes)!
Red Nose begged, but at the wrong door, and he got what he was begging for: a “lovely football”!
Loserfool is off, arse-anal remembered their ‘self-destruction’ button! Now, we got to worry about only the manure, really? I don’t really have time to worry about shit heads because i am a Chelsea fan and we don’t do something non-Chelsic!
I am enjoying the win (to BC & co.)!

Sorry for the typo, may be it is because Terry and Chelsea are but two names of a same thing!
Sorry but two more points:
Referee
As usual, i would love to comment on the referee. Mike Dean had a good game and he was strong with his decisions, most of which were spot on! His command of the game was great and his reaction to what could have been one of the great games of the 2009-10 season was apt. He did his job well, kudos to him!
BC theme,
I don’t know it if is called a theme, but the new design on the primary page of the BC is so cool, a great new look. Good job BC!
very good defending boys and drogba i love him when arsenal match comes and drogba is playing i am not worried come on now beat everton

Just when I was settling from the excitement of yesterday’s drubbing, I inadvertently read some of the most hilarious comments from an arsenal blog. Well, here is a challenge to everybody; Following are some of the comments by goners, try not to laugh.
1) After Drogba scores the second goal. A gooner gunning down Clichy and Almunia :
“If you think they’re scared now, wait till after the game when Drogba is gonna nail Clichy and Almunia again in the showers……we will be able to hear their screams of terror from north London”.
2) Here is a gooner on their defense :
“Chelsea and utd can beat us in 2nd gear coz we have no defence or defensive midfield co-ordination”.
3) A gooner who took 5 years to understand
“Arsenal are all style and no substance. Huff and puff but never blow the house down”.
4) A wise fan on Arsene, when he lashes on the 4th official :
“Why is he complaining. Atleast if they waste more time, we just might escape without being slaughtered”.
5) A cleverer gooner than their manager on Chelsea’s intent to sit back :
“Chelsea are letting us have possession as they know we can’t do f*** all with it”.
6) On Drogba’s substitution :
“Drogba has gone off. We can stop hiding behind the sofa”.
7) A poor soul after returning from Stamford bridge. Have mercy on him :
“In Arsene We Trust. So much so that I walked out with 15 minutes left to play. Had enough”
I don’t think he would ever waste his money again to return to Stamford bridge.
I know you are laughing. Once you stop, please let me know which one gets the award for the best sensible and comical comment ever by a gooner. Or if you have other nominations please share.
That was one of the best defensive performances to date by our guys, and the counter attacks were lethal.
All the team (but Anelka) was fantastic. Two however stands out for me; JT was out of this world, I’ll give him 12 on a scale to 10. Drogba, no comments necessary.
Can someone please reserve a place at the mental asylum for Mr Whinger. His latest statement: “Football is all about possession, not winning” It might just explain the lack of silver ware, you stupid tosser.
I think if Arsenal lose to Liverpool then they are certainly out of the title race.

Where do your loyalty stands should Chelsea and Real meet in CL?
@19 How about this one after Arsenal “drubbed” you in similar fashion 2 seasons ago. Looks like Arsene wrote it.
http://bluechampions.com/2007/12/16/arsenal-1-0-chelsea/
@Chelsito,
haha, lol! no. 6 is the best one!
@Pete, yea, and we fired our coach promptly coz we didn´t feel him right for the post. You guys on the other hand seem content losing!
Wish this match was in the begining of the season, where we could have gap between games. In two days we play Everton and it is a team ( along with Villa and spurs) I hate.. In the last 4 or 5 games, with them in EPL, we have always had a draw. Last year, we have 0-0 draw and this year it was a high scoring 3-3 ( during the miserable december month). Had we won against them and west ham , we would be cool 6 points ahead of Man U.
Hope players don’t get carried away – one game at a time. very important month for us – Everton, (FA Cup, Wolves in between) , Inter Milan and Man City.
My guess is of 13 games – ( if we are able to 10 win and 3 draws ) – 90 points, I think we will be on the top.
@DanaBlue – I am a merengue through and through and run a blog at http://www.los-merengues.com.
But my affiliation to Chelsea is almost entirely because of a little genius who used to play for the club not so long ago – Gianfranco Zola. If you remember Chelsea did play us in the 1998 UEFA Super Cup and won 1-0 despite being second best in the game. Those were during the Vialli days.
We also nearly met in the semis of the 2003-04 Champions League.

Pete – It’s hardly similar if you’d seen both the matches (since when 1-0 is a drubbing?). The biggest difference is Chelsea were 2-0 up after 25 mins in a ‘must-win’ match. If you’ve seen Chelsea vs Arsenal matches in the last 4-5 years, unless there is a real need, Chelsea always let Arsenal have the ball. Because, Arsenal do nothing with the ball. Tippy tappy football with no end product. The Arsenal attacks never have the quality to trouble the Chelsea defence.
Let me say it loud and clear – yesterday’s match was dominated by Chelsea. By domination, I mean who had the upper hand in attack, midfield and defence. Even in the 1-0 defeat in 2007 (happy that you had dig that far back . . ), Chelsea had the upper hand in attack, midfield and defence. The possession percentage has no value at all. For Arsene Wenger, it helps to keep his sheep happy. That’s it.
Genuine football fans recognise quality when they come across it. Zola is an absolute legend, Vialli not bad at all.
However I feel sorry for you that Ronaldo has been dumped on you, he is such a cheat and that it not compatible with Real, maybe with Barca, but not Real.
A big thank you from JT
‘On a personal note I’d like to thank every single fan today, it’s a really emotional day for myself and the way the fans have been with me for the last two weeks, honestly it’s incredible, I didn’t expect that today,’ he told the club’s official channel.
‘I go away full of delight today and I’d like to thank every single fan for the way they treated me. On a second note, as the manager said, we needed to defend well and I thought big Pete was brilliant. He came for crosses, made a great save from Bendtner in the second half and just scooped it away.
‘ Ash was brilliant, Riccy, Iva brilliant, really solid, but then going forward we were great and caught them a few times on the counter-attack, so overall a great performance and I mean it from my heart, I’d like to thank everyone for today, thank you.’
28 – BC what your saying is blinkered, you’ve just done the same thing I’ve accused you of in your reply and you don’t even realise it. I was at that game, its pretty much the most important victory we’ve had at the emirates so I remember it (sad yes). We took the lead, you started having more posession but couldn’t break us down bar once and throughout we were the far more likely to score, whatever you say this is fact. In your report you said you were the better team for most the match, the better team lost and that our tactics were embarrasing and you dominated us etc.
Yesterday in a game that pans and plays out in more or less the same way (admitedly your victory was a bit more comfortable), you’re transcript is somehow the polar opposite, saying you were outstanding when essentially you’d done the same as us, its laughable. You have better players all over the park and you fully deserved to win yesterday, and you make good points in your report but while your insulting Wenger for being Myopic your being just as bad.
Either way its small fry, you’ve got loads of good content in your articles so you don’t need to be one sided. Forget about winding opposition fans up, its the Chelsea readers that matter.
Pete – Thanks for the compliments. Honestly, in a city derby, there’s a world of difference between a 1-0 and a 2-0. If Arsenal had gone 2-0 up and wanted to hold their lead, I’d have had no complaints. There are many ways to hold the lead (be it 1-0 or 2-0) – the most acceptable is by controlling the game – on or off the ball. In my humble opinion, Arsenal have always been poor at this when it comes to matches against top oppositions. As a Chelsea fan, of course, that’s the difference I see between Arsenal holding a lead and Chelsea holding a lead. I don’t for a moment think we’re trying to convince each other, anyway, our views are out there!
The support for John Terry is admirable, amazing and very interesting. John Terry represents the best qualities of comradeship, loyalty and team spirit. His concern and understanding of the human spirit and the true meaning of sportsmanship and clearly of an original nature. He is without doubt an incredible example of hiumanity. What a cunt.

It’s ok, buck up. There’s always a next time.
Oh i love to hear gooners whining! Now I understand why they don´t fire Whenger. Coz´every gooner is a whiner too!
Fair enough BC, your logic is quite sound. I’m pretty sure that deep down you know that your Arsenal related posts are tainted, but in fairness I looked at a few more of your articles (Ive only previously read ones when we’ve had to play each other) and it seems that your generally fair and its a case of Arsenal being your hated team which you reserve a bit of bile for, rather than just actually being biased.
i can’t wait for Liverpool to continue their ‘somewhat’ bounce back against Arsenal on wednesday!
probably be closer though 1-2 or so
@Martin,
Oh dear! looks like JT fucked you too. We are sorry. You know, he loves scoring outside the bridge…..
top of the table. yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah baby
professional performance from the blue army. I am kinda upset with DD for not completing his hattrick though lol
oh well a brace is Alright!!!
I actually missed the game, the first game I´ve missed that been aired all season long, so I just watched it today.
I though it was a comfortable win. We didnt do more then necessary.
you could see on the players performance that it was a big game. Lampsy worked his socks of as did most of the team. Nico have started to sulk a lil bit ever since the big dawg got back from angola. He need to dominate the way he did in Jan.
Did you guys notice that Nico actually got mad cause the ref didnt call a foul on Diaby so he chased him and fouled him intentionally that was so funny . I cant remember last time nico showed that much emotion.
Ashley was absolute world class. he just missed the finishing touch (not scoring from the gold opportunity he had).
Cech had overall a perfect performance. JT business as usual. I cant really understand ppl actually question the love he gets from CFC fans? Now is the time we need to support him even more. He messed up, he still gotta do his job and we gotta be there for him and the rest of the team no matter what.
Flo showed determination today and it was a beauty to watch. if he can keep that up; it`ll make us an even better team. Ze German was to sloppy for my liking, but he still have the knowhow of how to control the tempo and slow things down and interrupt their buildups.
For all the nonsense AW talks after losing this must be it; Chelsea didnt demonstrate football today=)
I dont wanna hate on arsenal, lots of ppl have done that already but I must say Theo must be the worst international English player, ever!!!
@19 How about this one after Arsenal “drubbed” you in similar fashion 2 seasons ago. Looks like Arsene wrote it.

No hard feelings mate, you can always have a dig at me when Chelsea lose to Arsenal, if we ever lose again, that is.
Between, did somebody read Arsene’s post match comments ? Let us all chant :
‘ There is only one Arsene Wenger…..
only one Arsene Wenger……..
only one Arsene Wenger……..’
chelsito,
Nos. 4,5 and 6 are cool but No. 4 is the coolest!
Well, I’ve put it on record that Arsenal is my most hated team/club. So you’re right in a way!
BC,
I told you once, and i repeat: I celebrate Chelsea’s victory as grand as arsenal’s defeat…and when Chelsea defeat arsenal, it is DOUBLE MAZZA!

I know you are laughing. Once you stop, please let me know which one gets the award for the best sensible and comical comment ever by a gooner. Or if you have other nominations please share.
Thank you IMWJ and Karma. I liked the 6th one.
Only two responses!!!! There are 3 things to conclude from this
1) There are many saintly figures out here, who don’t like to pile up on others agony. C’mon, even Pete enjoyed it.
OR
2) Some of you need to check your eyes. Oh, in that case you ain’t going to read even this comment.
OR
3) Some of you have not stopped laughing yet. Ok, I can wait.
@chelsito
the 6th is the best….
@chelsito

chelsito,
I laugh again…..ROTF….yi hahahahahahahahahaha…hohohoh…..i like your sense of humour!
Karma, get ready with your mighty pen…. err….keyboard coz it might be over to you to report the Everton clash.
So, the next task is to takeover the Goodison Park. I don’t think that even the most over confident blue will ever predict this to be an easy 3 pointer. Wake up people it isn’t Arsene, we just can’t rely upon only counter attacks to win. Packed midfield, a steady back four are all the traits of this Everton side. We let them off the hook the last time they were at Bridge. Even after scoring 3 against a depleted Everton, they were able to crawl back into the match (courtesy the football decided to get into the chelsea nets everytime there was a scramble). There would be no Pienaar & Fellaini. My goodness! Had to google twice to spell them correctly. They are worth the search though, really good players. But their new buy Donovan is equally impressive. I was quite surprised by their defeat to Liverpool, that too with an extra man. I won’t be upset with a point from the game. But heart says a hard earned victory. I won’t predict a scoreline and get humiliated coz I am down the ‘I know the score’ table. Guess who is last in the table ;)
what a bad away performance!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are the same position than liverpool the last season (beaten the big opponents and lose the smallest) fuckkkkkkkkkkk
we cant be the champions if we dont win the away games!!!!!

everton is a good side and they cant be compared to hull stoke wolves they have finished in top 6 in each of last 3 seasons
everton played well now saha play this way vs united and nuetralise this result long way to go but away form is a cause of concern wolves away pompey away blackburn away these 3 should be 9pts hopefully .home form hopefully 18 that means 85 last 3 away manu away draw spurs away win liv away win or draw that would mean 90 enough to be champions
chelsito,
I couldn’t watch the match, so i may be excused from writing the article. I have had my alarm set at 1.50 am, only to find manure vs villa and arse vs fool. I knew our match is at 2 am, so i checked all the channels at few minutes past 2 but no match, i re-set my alarm at 3.45 knowing that our match will be replayed after the two matches, but i missed my alarms, went into a deep slumber! I woke up only at 5.21 and rushed immediately and could catch the match at 72nd minute! Shortly Saha scored and i had a nightmare, morningmare! I am checking the news to see our performance. But one thing i am sure, our boss made a mistake by playing Ashley, Zhirkov and Malouda all together! Too much of quality and quantity at the left side!

Anelka was invisible.. should be subbed with j.cole ..and earlier..
I think Ballack should be fielded in 1st 11.. to dictate and use his strength to stop ‘em. Everton outmuscled us in the mid pitch..
