You’re getting a little impatient, aren’t you? There is so much happening in the transfer market while there is no action from Chelsea. It’s very strange for various reasons. We’ve got a new manager and that’s always the best excuse to spend millions. The new manager comes an ailing top team of another league. That’s another reason for purchases. Roman’s got the money and all rumours about his recession money drain is all wrong. That’s another great reason. Plus, more than anything, just like in a designer apparel shop, the best of the best gets sold in no time. Waiting may not really help you.
While Ancelotti has given his interview in English and all that, he hasn’t really come out to say what he plans to do for this season. I don’t expect him to share the secrets but at least the fundamentals like: (i) What is the squad size we have in mind? (ii) Are we looking to buy players? (iii) Which positions are we looking at? (iv) Are we planning to offload some players? These are some very basic questions which can be answered while keeping the secrets close to his chest.
The good news of the week: Florent Malouda has signed a 4-year contract with Chelsea FC that keeps him here until 2013. That’s great news from variuos perspectives. I like Malouda very much. He is very talented and works very hard. He is good spirited and works for the team. He is very much back in form and would soon reach his heights of Lyon days. The fact that Malouda is given a four year contract tells me two contradicting things. Either Ancelotti might very well be keen on playing 4-3-3 or he is not going to play 4-3-3 but he needs a low maintenance winger just in case he plays 4-3-3.
There’s a rumour that Chelsea have signed the 18-year old Czech goalkeeper Jan Sebek on a long contract. If it’s true that’d be very good news. He is young, he is Czech and he is going to be an understudy for the great Petr Cech. If Jan Sebek is a decent goalkeeper already, he would learn immensely in this role and would be a good back up from the club’s point of view.
If rumours are to be believed, the entire AC Milan team would sign for Chelsea FC and move over to London. And Chelsea will have a squad of about 47 players. Hold. Let’s look only at the rumours that borders on the news. Andrea Pirlo is the biggest of all rumours. Some of us worried to hear this rumour, because he is another 30-year old ‘past-his-prime’ star from a slower and weaker league. He is even seen as the next Deco. I doubt though. Deco was certainly on the wane when he quit Barca. Barca’s management and fans wanted to see him quit. Pirlo has not waned. He is still ace at what he does best. The Milan fans absolutely want him to stay. He has at least couple of years of top level football left in him. I like Pirlo a lot. How will he fare in the premier league? It’s just so hard to predict. I’d say, if he is available on loan, I’d grab the offer.
Then comes the Pato rumour. When Pato moved from Brazil to Europe, Chelsea were also in the race to sign him. I remember that I was so confident that we would sign him that I put him his image on the sidebar calling him Chelsea’s young sensation. Like any latin american footballer would do, he chose a south european club. His moving to Milan was such a disappointment for me back then. Now, there seems to be a chance of snatching him back. He apparently loves Ancelotti and wants to work with him, irrespective of the climate and the language of the place of work. He could be expensive but he might be worth it. He is young, he is very promising (more than Bojan Krkic) and he is tipped as a future footballer of the year. How many of the current crop of young players can you say would be a footballer of the year in the future? This kid is special. If we can get him, we must.
Essien’s agent has dropped a bombshell that he would take offers from Real Madrid and Barcelona very seriously. He is an agent of a top footballer. He is just doing his job. Essien has clearly mentioned how much he loves Chelsea and that he wants to stay with Chelsea. Something tells me that he would never leave Chelsea. I could be very naive in saying this. We are not in a generation where footballers stay in the club for more than 5 seasons. I think the days of one-club footballers like Maldini are gone. Anyway, I still think that Essien would remain at Chelsea. While successes do create that team spirit, it is the occasional failures that create the bonding with the team and the club. I think Essien does feel that sense of belonging with the club. I read this line from Mikel, “I stay with Chelsea and win the champions league”. Lovely!

Nice article.
I am sick of the AC rumours too, I don’t want any of their players (bar Pato). Essien’s agent is just taking the piss. There’s actually a rumour that Essien will make a 26 million euro switch to Man United.
Ha!
A.Cole , Essien would stay ..!!
SELL:Deco,Ferreirea,Carvalho..
Buy:Zhirkov,Aguero/Pato.
Nice words man…
all Milan players sign for chelsea that was very funny…. really rumor say that every Milan player is linked with chelsea…
bt we do need a striker pato come to Chelsea Footballer of the year for sure in coming years
players like Terry, lampard, DD, Essien, Joey and Cech should never be allowed to leave. They are the heart of this new chelsea team of Roman era, and they are the ones that paint us blue. I can´t imagine life at chelsea without anyone of them. they are dedicated to club and we fans absolutely love them.
Im getting really impatient now because its been like 4 weeks since the transfer window opened and Chelsea have still not done any real business besides getting Sturridge (with the tribunal to decide the fee). Either Chelsea are trying their best and failing to capture any of the supposed big names we are after, or either we have something special stored under our sleeves, well I hope the second option comes true. Still I think rather then chansing all these big names besides Pato we should be looking to buy low profile yet key targets such as Zhrikov, Alan Dzagoev, VDV, Sneijder, Huntelaar, Young, Ben Arfa, David Silva, Rossi, Aquafresca etc. These are the players with great flair and the ability to become something special and wont come with the ridiculous £40M+ tag besides Pato but I consider that money being well spent. Villa, Ribbery, Aguero and the likes are brilliant players but why spend something like £100M+ on them when Chelsea can spend something like £75M (with the income generated from players sold) and strenghten the squad in key areas with 3/4 players coming in.
I don’t complely get you BC.If rumours are to be believed, the entire AC Milan team would sign for Chelsea FC and move over to London.
http://www.tribalfootball.com/mourinho-willing-send-ibrahimovic-chelsea-253484 good news or bad news???????
Hey BC,
I think Chelsea are trying very hard to sign top, top players this summer. Unfortunately, those so-called top players we want to bring in are not for for sale or their clubs don’t even want sell their assets to Chelsea. Some seem like preferring a move to Spain or Italy instead of English League.
I love what Chelsea have done so far. It is clear Chelsea offered Valencia 45 million for their in-demand striker David Villa which far better offer than the one Real Madrid made. Valencia want to sell him to whoever willing to pay the highest. But Villa himself wants to stay in Spain most likely at Real Madrid. So there is a problem between the player and Valencia which is their business. We can’t do anything about that unless they really want have a business with us. I am pretty sure Kenyon and co are closely monitoring the situation with Villa and Chelsea are still after him.
Another player we are after is Ribery who is also wanted by Real and ManU. Chelsea have made big, big offer for him but like Villa, Ribery seems like a Zidane fan and we know that Bayern are bastards in this kind of business. I heard Chelsea will make another improved bid for Ribery in coming days which could tempt Bayern to selll their asset to us. We’ll see how it develops.
Aguero and Pato are staying with their respected clubs. Benzema may end up at Real or Old Trafford. Eto’o has a future in Manchester City. Jose will never sell Ibragimovich to Chelsea. Tevez looks like certain to join Man City that he is already planning to enroll his daughter for school in Manchester. Suddenly, everything is not really going our way.
But I am pretty sure we will see some exciting faces next season, just wait and see. It will take time to sign top class players, doesn’t it???
Nobody wants see some ordinary players in Chelsea shirt. Only the class of Villa, Ribery or Tevez that we need!!!!!
Oh, one last thing I disagree with you BC, we don’t need a second version of Deco next season. Period
Buying Ibrah is not good news.he is a very expensive player in all terms, CHELSEA must think on players like Dzeco, Zhirkov, Pavlychenko, they are young, cheaper and they will bring at Chelsea the magic touch of effectiveness. Chelsea need a right winger to attack (rumours says Chelsea is ready to sell joe cole) (Anelka is not winger) and other striker to replace Drogba (injury) , he dont must to play all matches.
Please Chelsea… DONT SELL JOE COLE!!!!, that is a big, big error.
If Pirlo comes, give him the number 25!
http://www.tribalfootball.com/chelsea-have-zhirkov-sturridge-signings-253497 hope this is true
I think ancelotti is aware of what he wants to do and what players he want at his disposal here at CFC. I guess he is just eager to get started wit it. We still have a very strong team and I am sure we are going to add even more quality to it. I don’t agree wit BC, about pirlo. I know he is one of the better play makers but I rather spend the money on ribery or someone else. I think huntalar is an underrated striker plus we wouldn’t break the bank to sign him.
I dont understand why deco is talking on crap about CFC????? he betta sh*t his mouth before he gets nuked! LFS? well no one is really interested in ur comments. u better watch ur back the Uzbekistaniens are no jokes lol
Who wouldn’t want Ibrahimovic at Chelsea? I think he’s the most complete striker in the world. Speed, agility, technical ability, flair, skill.. he’s got it all. You guys are complaining about his wages?? I didn’t hear anyone complain when Sturridge got the high wages he wanted that even City wouldn’t match. These are the same people who complain of Ibra’s potential wages but are willing to shell out 50m on 19-year old Pato who isn’t a regular starter and remains unproven. I don’t know.. the general Chelsea fan base confuses me sometimes. Ibra would be great at Chelsea, look at all the goal scoring opportunities Anelka had all year, imagine someone of Ibra’s stature getting that many looks at goal. I’m not saying Pato would be a great addition, but he will not make an instant impact like Ibra would and lets face it.. no way in hell Milan would sell their future star. I think it’d be a nice piece of business if we could offload deco(thank god) and carvalho(who doesnt want to play for us anymore and is injury prone) to Inter in a cash+players deal and get Ibracadabra. If we could keep Drogba and get him that would create a devastating attack. This is a chance to grab one of the world’s greatest players and get rid of Deco, I hope we can take advantage of this opportunity.
Please no Pirlo, he is good at what he does AT MILAN. I think chelsea, and the PL in common, have a way too high pace for him. Besides that who would he replace? We don’t need him at chelsea, there are way better (and cheaper) playmakers then Pirlo. Take Van der Vaart for example, i think he is better then Sneijder (more complete), and he wont have a idiot price looking at the fact Madrid want to dump him (and this is not because i’m dutch ;)!). And please, don’t get more then 1/2 (pretty) big players, and give the reserves a chance!!!
P.s: I really hope deco f*cks off in the forthcoming days…
I have been following The Confed Cup, and i am impressed with South African national team…they are swift and accurate! So bad that that irritating Alves scored in the semis…i hate barkas!!!
We may not at all need a midfielder, but i am totally impressed by Siphiwe Tshabalala…if he can play at the left flank, i think we should buy him…he would be so chaep and we would benefit from his talent! He is creative and strong and fast and agile!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1196122/Scolari-reveals-Chelsea-troublemakers-finger-pointed-Drogba-Ballack-Cech.html
The old man has lost it, apparently his tactics were perfect and would have won us something if it hadnt been for the ‘troublemakers’ Cech, Ballack and Drogba. Go to hell old man, stay at Bunyodkor where U belong !
First and foremost, I take comfort Ancelotti is taking a while, he officially takes over on wednesday and I expect him to start making his intentions clear
Its a good thing we have extended malouda’s contract, but we need a little more from him to really get us going
I haven’t seen anything of Jan Sebek so won’t comment but we do need a goalie to push Cech to perform
I personally think Pirlo would be great for Chelsea. He is a defensive playmaker so that means essien could play in a more advanced position if necessary. Pirlo is good with a deadball, he is not huge but strong for his size and has a good range of passing, he might even push Ballack to play better. However, I’m not sure if he is coming, I doubt Milan want to sell both players
I’d be happy to take pato, but his purchase would surely mean we would take on a new formation and would see less lampard goals, if milan are buying adeboayor, it makes the pato departure more likely, even with the money for Kaka, milan needs more cash
I think Essiens agent came out saying that to spark a new contract from Chelsea so at least money could not be a reason for him leaving
As for other rumours, Im very certain we did not bid for David Villa. Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be brilliant for us, but he is not a necessity, neither is maicon but id be ecstatic to see them in chelsea shirts. I think the player to keep an eye on is Ribery. Real will pay out anything for him but Bayern has a hold on the situation, I think they are waiting to see what offers we can bring to the table. But we are waiting to cement other possible moves, which in turn sees us waiting on Carlo Ancelotti
Actually, I am getting used to this inactivity and waiting for the community shield !
C’mon our squad is one of the strongest in the world and just a whisker of a goal away a year ago and a stupid ref away from the CL this year.
So I guess Roman is just rattling his money bags to up the prices as much as possible for others and complicate their plans,So the season has begun before even a the first ball is kicked. U see, Ibra and Augulera and Alonso and Ribery staying in their respective teams would suit Chelsea just right !
Just one quality addition would be ok !
Oh BTW Man Citeh seem to be snapping up stars so Man U will certainly have to be careful when they meet at their derbies which suits us ok !
What the hell is wrong with Scolari Cech is not a trouble maker.
I really hope the rumars are true about Zhirkov and Sturridge.
You should foreget Pirlo he is just to old.
CHEERS!!
I have just seen the new away kit, i like it, but at the same time hate it
you can see what i mean
http://www.chelseamegastore.com/stores/chelsea/products/kit_selector.aspx?selector=228&portal=YILLG9C4
Scolari must keep his mouth shut and never speak about chelsea.Great Guss show how loser is scolari.
Drogba will be injured for 2 or 3 months next season,it is his type and we can not do anything.Chelsea need a good player like Drogba.
I always like Ibra Spirit,he is a though guy.We need players like him at chelsea, but i know they are not cheap,

Replying to KarmaCW: ARE U Serious???? Shabalala???? he is a joke. dudes best asset is his name lol. No one on the south African team would make our team. thats a fact. having said that, I feel sorry for them. I wanted them to somehow sneak by Brazil and make it to the final but the most hated footballer of 2009 season scored. damn I dislikes him and his antics. and oh boy they messed up big time against spain. Guiza is a lucky son of a gun. anyway stop kidding me KarmaCW
Replying to True Blue in L.A.:
Ibra is not a winner man. don’t believe the hype. But I definitely would like him to play for us if everything turns out to benefit us. I don’t think we gonna sign him and still have DD. plus lets not pay ridicules money for him. The same goals for Pato, I understand AC Milan are doing everything in their power to hold on him but the fee they are talking about is just outrages. I rather have use use the players we already have. Even if Di Santo isn’t there yet I still its better to give him a run then pay a tons of money for the Brazilian kid. I dont even think he played a min in the Confederation cup in South Africa.
If Eto signs for Man City, will Tevez also do that? If nothing turns up maybe they club can go for tevez. not that he is my first choice but he is a proven EPL player and u will know what you will get out of him.
Replying to Lampard and the Blues.: money money money
Scolari said the Government’s decision to raise the top rate of tax from 40 to 50 per cent from next April means he will not return to England! I wonder who would want this old fart??????? Nways its funny that he comes out and say this stuff. Haven’t he been managing in footie lot of years? then he sure must know “the name of the game”! He took the highest ranked team in Europe and made use a laughing stuck. and the best evidence of it was when The great guus came in and turned everything wit in a week. of course they didn’t like your methods you silly old man, those methods may have worked 25 years ago but its 2009 you fool.
He never liked DD, and he made everybody know that. how is someone gonna preform if he isn’t backed by his manager??? and of course the Brazilian guys loved you, u were having their backs.
Guus had not a damn thing to say about the players other then they were really professional and they worked hard week in week out. Enough said!!!
Replying to chelsea=champions: I really hope we get zhirkov!!!
Its strange you know after Chelsea went onto the front page saying they might spend 50m on Torres.
In the posts I sent in not one was about Torres going to Chelsea.
zhirkov! zhirkov!! zhirkov!!!
@ chelsea=champions
if you actually read that story, you will see that it was written a month ago. its not really new news. sorry dude.
@ kuhulai
did you see alves’ tatoo? he has his own name tatooed on his chest. what a total lack of class…
Just 2 days till Carlo takes charge at the bridge and with his arrival Im expecting atleast one signing by this week, this saga of us being linked with a dozen players and yet not a single signing is drivin most of us crazy and we want to be atleast informed of the direction we are heading in. I read most of you want Ibra and the likes, well just one question why would to pay £50M for a striker who never shines on the big stage, who never shows up when it matters the most and at 28 he’s not gettin any younger so why splash that kind of money on him when we can possibly sign Huntelaar, VDV and Zhirkov for the same amount. Also the idea of us spendin £50M on Pato is also ridiculous, the boy is magic and will possibly grow up to become a world class player but atm he’s not worth anything above £30M and if Milan dont want to do business then we should end our pursuit and focus on alternatives. City have offered £25M for Etoo, now that is decent business, we should also throw our name in and try to sign him, and if he’s to make the decision of choosing between City and Chelsea then im sure he will choose Chelsea. £25M is decent monet paid for a striker of his ability and if we can get him then it will teach City a good lesson for hijacking the Robinho deal. Just imagine DD + Etoo upfront man that combo is more then enough to give nightmares to the opposition. Still realistically I think we should sign players like Zhirkov, Dzageov, VDV or Sneijder and Tevez / Huntelaar or Etoo and we will rule the PL and CL with an Iron Fist.
I think you guys are dreaming.
Unless CFC embark on a buyingspree sooner rather than later ,this team as it is now, will not survive at the top any longer.
Unless 2 creative midfielders (to replace Lamp & Balak) and two strikers (to replace DD & Malouda as 1st team choice), CFC will end up
as a mid table team.
CFC has no creative talent and no flare ,will continue to rely on defence . This can’t keep a team going at the high level.
Rember these words!

LOOOOOL :P I thought the same thing; how lame do you have to be to do that???
With the new Champions League rule requiring more players on the squad with domestic nationality we should push hard for Ashley Young, to be included with Terry, Lampard, J.Cole, A.Cole, Sinclair and Mancienne. It might be good that he finished last season poorly since it would lower his price tag, even though Villa would be reluctant to let him go.
If we’re going to make a change at right back, it has to be Maicon and nobody else. Bosingwa is a very good player so if we lose him we can only accept the one available player who is better. That’s if we lose Bosingwa, but I’d be happy if he stayed.
Reports are suggesting we’re signing Zhirkov on Wednesday, July 1. We all know how the media loves to lie so I’m just going to wait for official confirmation on chelseafc.com. If this is true and I think it is, that’s a really great player we’re adding to our squad.

Did anyone se the young three lions get schooled by German in the U21 EC in Malmö?? it ended 0-4. Our Mancienne played in the second and did quite well but the rest were rubbish. specially ars asset Theo Walcott. James Miller was the best player for England through out the tournament. They missed Soon to be Birmingham keeper Joe Hart badly today.
German are so lucky, they where lucky to qualify in the last game against France and they shouldn’t have own against the best team of the tournament according kuhulai (Italy). But as we all know the best team doesn’t always win=))
Replying to Jaz: You seem to know the real deal wit of Rosengårds finest (ibra) lol. he have always failed in the big games. he still a great player and he still have time to show up on the biggest stage but so far he haven’t done that. so I rather have us spend the money wisely on upcoming stars as u mentioned. well said Jaz
Dear kuhulai,
Thank you for widening my knowledge about football. May be i was suporting RSA in Confed Cup that i found them attractive, and their central player was Tshabalala. ANd sure enough, that barka man was so lucky to score in the semis against RSA. Brazil didn’t deserve the cup becuase they are supposed to have lost in the semis…they are so lucky!
Similarly Guiza had his luck on that day against the RSA…anyway, i am assured that we don’t need midfielders but i thought that that chap wasn’t a bad one…..i am growing impatient without any transfers happening in CFC!
@kuhulai
iam not sure wat u r saying, as of now germany youth team is very very strong…nd they won u17,u19,now u21 respectively in dis year nd only team to do dis too……
now comes to the topic, how about buying Mesut Özil[germany u21],who will be sure cr7 for chelsea….i became his fan after watching is play nd now searching for the youtube video’s…..
Germany has alot of youth players coming through and will always be a force to be reckoned with, they are us on the international stage
England, after all that happened at the last competition, really disappointed me, 4-0 as well
funny because I slated Theo Walcott on goal.com and got alot of abusive replies after about how amazing he is and how he rips apart teams for fun including ac milan, yet he cant score against an u21 team???????
James Milner was a gem, I was upset with mancienne, anyone who saw what he was booked for will know he was very stupid for doing it
The press seem adament Chelsea will sign Zhirkov by the end of this week, I also expect to see the back of Deco, Carvahlo and maybe Kalou

So all the talk of Pirlo, Seedorf to Chelsea is just Crap. And yeah Mancienne showed his inexperience big time in the U-21.
Replying to KarmaCW:
aite man I hear you. Shabalala, is alright but to much shoe-shine football over him and other RSA players. I think the team did much better then I expected of them and its in a year time they are suppose to be on top of their game so I really hope they can peak at the right time. hopefully they can get Benedict McCarth (Blackburn) cause he is the only true striker they purpose right now.
Replying to hash: German schooled England thats what I said. they won so they are the best but they were lucky against italy. but typical German team they were the best when it mattered the most compared to other teams lol

Theo is one dimensional player. he just can outrun ppl. I was expecting him to at least do that but he was awful. coming in he was one of the most hyped player but I must say at least the other so called start players did show glimpse of their quality but I cant say the say about Theo.
Mancienne didn’t play well and therefor didn’t feature much in the tournament, but in the final what I saw was some slick passing and he was one of the few that tried to be creative. the team really missed Gabby and J-hart. J Millner good. they lacked a creative player in the middle. is Mancienne versatile enough to play in the middle?
kalou is good as sub he has scored most of times lately no need to sell hime immediately lets wait and see

guys it appears that CA wanted maldini to play again .. and not ina coaching capacity at chelsea.. is that man crazy!!! he would try to pair TJ with Maldini .. while alex sits on the damn bench!! maddess thanks God maldini didnt come.. because alex would have left for sure!! we want youth Carlo this is not a home for the elderly!!
Whew! I’m back from my 3 week long vacation (The only time to take a good vacation is when the season is over and the new one has yet to start). It’s much less time consuming skimming transfer rumors when the wife is getting ready to head out on the town than trying to skip out on vacation stuff to catch games. But regardless I still caught a good 4 or 5 Confed Cup games. I know everyone thinks this is just a trail World Cup warm up but as a Yank I couldn’t have been prouder of my international team. 2-0 USA Spain!! And when we were up 2-0 against Brazil at half time in the final I was in dreamland. I would love to see the combined last transfer fees of all of the US starting team vs. Brazil’s starting team. Those last 3 games USA played with real heart and showed it’s not the man it’s the team that wins or loses.
USA was ranked 14th before the tourney I wonder what their rank will be now? I think if they play the way they did their last 3 games they could make it to the quarterfinals and beat many mid-table teams like Sweden, Switz (and yes even England).
My question to you all is why did the Confed Cup get so little press? It seemed like it got less press than even the FIFA World Club Cup and I think the Confed cup is much more justified on who attends (minus, the Wolrd Cup Host Country spot – that is a bit of a freebie).
Replying to GamingTheSystem:
Maybe FIFA should have followed UEFA’s lead and fixed it so the world got the Brazil v. Spain final that everyone wanted. Maybe then it would have gotten more press!
be comforted all cos :
1. ManUre isn’t getting any cheapo CR eplacement and have been weakened by the CR & Tevez’s departure and Van Der Sar is now creaking old
2. Liverfool hasn’t got a penny to spend and hafta hold on to Alonso and Arbeloa and the black dutchman , 1 injury to Torres and then you know
what !
3. Arsenal is doing nothin but trying to pick up kids for cheap then sell em dear and bungle thru a season again
4. Citeh are crap whoever they get
Frustrating .. most of the clubs have made their first signing – Man U ( Valencia) & Liverpool ( Glen) and Arsenal ( defender).. We are still deciding on Yuri. Striker market is fully inflated.. probably should go for luis fabiano . looks sharp now after his injury

I cant fucking believe this ,Real Madrid Signs Benzema for 30m.We could buy him with that money too.Why we are wasting time,at least sell some players for god sake.Real can not be a big team in Champions League with their Mid Coach.I want to face them next year.
Benzema snubbed MANURE and is on his was to Madrid. It started with Ronaldo, then Tevez and Villa and Ribery and now their most important target Benzema (trust me, many manure fans were extremely sure that it was a done deal and were expecting to see Bezema at Old Trafford next season)…. I wish to see the expression on that red nosed gum munching Fergie’s face.

People always pointed out that we bought the trophies and never really earned them just because we overspent for a period pf two years, what they dont notice is that Manure was also on a spending spree….Now with Real Madrid and Man City leading the pack and paved their way into an inflated tranfer market, nobody should or will wver blame Chelsea.
Hope to see Zhirkov soon..keeping my fingers crossed and hope the deal’s done. Also, I hope to see Sturridge and Di Santo with/without Pato (We have a good set of strikers so it doesnt matter if we fail to sign him, but, his presence would be an added benefit as he’s only 19) during Drogba’s absence (African Cup of Nations).
Lastly, I feel this transfer season has been the worst for AC MILAN fans and I feel sorry for them.
KTBFFH.
La Liga is favourites for the best league title next season after madridistas get Benzema
God help us in the champions league next year
Hopefully they meet Liverpool or Barca in the quarter finals or something
Spyder I am also loving it
Oh my blue has the targets more or less sussed
although we need one, i doubt kenyon will want a left winger and a leftback when he could buy zhirkov, but should 2 of our left sided players get injured, we will be in trouble
In light of the Benzema deal, I tried to do some investigation and it seems Daniel Sturridge is not listed as a man city player anywhere
i heard we made efforts to sign him, but there is no info, anyone have some?
Pavlyuchenko ….anyone
Replying to CFCIR: but he want to come….?
BENZema had one destination and that wasn’t Manu, so he is reals 4th signing. I guess they will wrap up Alonso as well sooner then later lol @ liverfools.
How can madrid afford this much money…last time it was by selling their training ground..this time..santiago bernabue?

Hello!
Any news about Obi Mikel?
Where he will play next season? At Chelsea?
Thanks.
Replying to nerbiox: hell yea. No way in hell we should sell him!!!
Well … the Benzema deal is sure a missed chance for us. I would gladly take him at that price, and I believe he will turn out to be the best of all the three star signings. I fuckin don’t understand the rationale behind bidding for Glen Johnson and not bidding for benzema. or did we bid way lower than real? are u kidding me? benz lower than 30m ?
fuck main, we don’t have many options
1. we are after pato and we are sure that we are bringing the duck to the bridge.
2. ok, benz has joined real, wtf will happen to villa ? Terry praising villa, anyone smells it? if its the fact that we got villa, bcos we did not go for benz i will take that , at least for near future
3. huntelaar is surely gonna leave. 20m should be good to grab him.
ok i think too much sleep is also not good for health. its time to wake up and eat the ducks.
We did not bid for benezema.. Bidding is going for Pirlo .. Gatusso .. :-(…
where is mr. platini… 180 MM spend one season on transfer.. still no comments..
guys Ben Arfa!!! young fast gifted!!! nice price.. lets get him!! (can play through the middle) we are truly not looking for talent
Hi BLUES,
I, for one, is still hoping and wishing hard that we sign Sergio Aguero. I know we will have competition in getting him, but I feel that our chances are higher than trying for Ribery or Pato. If the papers are to believe to be true (NOT!), with Turnbull and Sturridge in the bag, adding Zhirkov and Aguero would complete us. Deco and Cavalho must leave as I’m afraid they may cause unrest in the dressing room. KTBFFH!!!!

Kun wants to join us , but he is asking for 200,000 K per week more than Terry or Lampard.. I think we should go for Luis Fabiano and add a couple of midfielders.. Both Obi and Essien would be out in the month of Jan ..
I was laughing at these italian clubs… when they want to sell it is for 50 plus million, but when they come to buy, they want to do for free. Inter is expecting us to release carvalho and deco for free.. roma wanted sheva ..
Today’s new papers put up that ribery wants to go for real madrid . kenyon better snap up some other player, before all other clubs comes .
Aguero? No way. The guy’s short. We have a young brazilian already. VDV did not make the cut in the spanish league, will ost likely flop in the prem. I’m not sure Hunteelar is such a hot striker. Played in the Dutch league. Someone else was hot in Holaand. Rememeber a certain Kezman?
Having said these I think we only need a creative midfielder and a proven striker. I actually think we are fine on the wings. We only need one wong per time. We are a gteam that plays mainly thru the middle. No to pirlo. Hell no. The guys old. And anyone can pass the ball well when they have all the time in the world to pick their targets. Deco’s passing used to be so true until he got mixed up with the english.
Who’s the most creative midfielder under 25 in the premiership. That’s the one we need to go for.
Sorry. Youg argentine. Guess my mind wants pato and thinks we have him already. Sorry about all the typos
I love Kun aguero, but my guess is if we are going to get any superb signing its going to be Pato. I think ancelotti is working hard one that one cause he knows the kids well. Keep it up Lotti and bring him to the bridge.
@ olu, I agree wit you, it would be superb if we could add a really creative midfielder. and yea Pirlo is old but don’t compare him to other players. when he was on top of his game he was one of the finest creater and passer.
Are we chasing Paris St Germain’s midfield dynamo Stephane Sessegnon???

wowowowowwow
Hi fellas, it’s been a while since i came here. Nice to see, since the last time i was here we’ve gone on to win the FA Cup. Thanks Guus, we will always cherish what u did for us. Good Luck with ur Russian assignment. Now to things anew. I have a funny feeling Carlo Ancelotti is going to be a success for us and this has nothing to do with manure’s apparent step down. Remember when Roman wanted Mourinho over the continuous stay of Ranieri? what happened then? Mourinho came and the rest they say is history. Then Roman wanted Hiddink to take charge of the team. however, the board decided on Scolari. The result was, well, the least said the better. Then Roman brought in Hiddink under a barrage of negotiations with the Russian federation. Result? well wouldn’t we all love him to stay? Then arrives Carlitto. Handpicked by Roman himself, and i have a sneaky suspicion Roman does know talent when he sees it. He will stay off Carlo’s back, he has learnt his lesson. However he has also taught Kenyon, Buck and Tenenbaum he knows what he is about. I’m glad we have an owner like Roman.
Now on transfers, seems busy since Kaka got snapped up by Madrid. Subsequently, loads of superstars are following suit. Anyone learned anything from the last Galacticos era? the difference between Madrid and Barca is whilst Madrid buys players for their status Barca buys genuine talent in position they r needed. Chelsea can go this way too. We have a strong squad and yes we need reinforcements. Whilst loads of speculation surround players like Ribery, Villa and the likes i hope my beloved Chelsea looks at players like Mauro Zarate, Hulk, Ozil and lots of hidden, genuinely talented ball movers who wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. Yes, we would all love to have the Patos and Riberys of this world, however we can outwit the loserpools and manure’s by signing these guys unannounced.
i trust the management of Chelsea are sure what they r doing. This coming season Essien, Mikel, Drogba and Kalou will be of to CAn championship. Let’s be smart .
I hope now the english media will find a new darling team to back and i have funny feeling it’s going to be loserpool they back this time. Not to worry though, we r Chelesea , Blue in the Blood.
welcome turnbullllll
we need more english players!!!!
Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Ross Turnbull on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old joins us from Middlesbrough, and has signed a four-year contract.
Turnbull was available on a free after his contract expired at the Riverside Stadium, opting to head south to Stamford Bridge rather than sign a new deal in the north east following Boro’s relegation.
He joins Petr Cech and Hilario in the Chelsea first team squad, working under the guidance of goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon.
Hilario, 33, has also signed a new two-year deal with the club today that will run until 2011.
An England youth international, Ross was born in Bishop Auckland and came through the ranks at Middlesbrough, making his league debut in May 2006 in a 1-1 draw against Bolton.
Prior to that there had been temporary spells with Darlington, Barnsley, Bradford and Crewe, sides that would have noticed his impressive FA Youth Cup form as Boro reached the Final in 2002/03, beaten by Manchester United.
Another loan spell at Cardiff City was cut short due to injuries in late 2007 as the youngster stepped in for Mark Schwarzer, playing in Boro’s 2-1 win over Arsenal. At the end of that campaign, the Australian announced he was leaving for Fulham, meaning Turnbull and Brad Jones would fight it out for the number one spot for the 2008/09 campaign.
Initially it was Jones given the nod by Gareth Southgate, but when he injured himself in the warm-up before the second league game of the season, Turnbull stepped in, keeping his place until the turn of the year.
His last Middlesbrough appearance came against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge back at the end of January when he was beaten by two Salomon Kalou goals. The 6’4 stopper had earlier been in the line-up when we ran out 5-0 winners at the Riverside in October.
In total, Ross made 29 appearances for Middlesbrough, in addition to 67 for his various loan clubs.

Replying to chelsea=champions: check post 85!
back to the topic, I thought we were releasing Hilario?? guess not=)
Looks like ManCIty is desperate to get Terry….
http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~1712156,00.html
Man City offered 30 million for Terry? Gotta be fcuking kidding me !!! You don’t offer this amount of money for one of the two best center halves in the world. To those millionaires of Man City, you won’t get this man from Chelsea for even 80 million. The man is not gonna leave. He is not for sale. If you are considering a second bid, let u know he can’t be sold at any price motherfcukers!!!
Welcoming Turnbull with an open heart, or with a red scarf?!! Hell no, am not a Spaniard!!!
