There are only a bunch of great players out there and they need to be poached before sumbody else gets them and this where chelsea need to beef up a lil bit......with madrid they always have great scouting network who recognises talent so quickly and they just get their man before anybody else realises it. ....and our very own frank arnesen does what only he knows..... i mean what the heck is he paid for......or is it that he does not have an eye for detail...or else he is not good at what he does..... I would love to know that who negotiates transfers for chelsea in reality.....is is arnesen or is it kenyon......either of the two in my opinion just dunt have what it takes to calmly diplomatically and cleverly negotiate transfers and eventually get us our target.... Aguero would be ideal for Chelsea but I hear he wants something like £160K a week otherwise he wont move to Chelsea, well since our annual wages for last year was a staggering £172M I say we need to stop puttin up with the demands of these greedy players and look forward to cut down on the wage bill to something in the region of £130M and give our youngsters a shot at it. Carlo knows how to work with both young and old players and even if we finish 3rd next season it would not bother me as long as he introduces youngsters into the first team balancing out the wage books so that in the coming years we can go self-sufficient and then we can splash as much money as we want, because at the moment spending £100M million on players with jaw dropping salaries will further destroy the reputation and the infrastructure of Chelsea. Therefore I would rather suggest we sell, Deco, Kalou, Belletti, Carvalho, Ferreira, which can fetch in the region of £30M with Kalou being tagged around £13M and use that money to buy Zhirkov, Dzaegov and maybe with a little bit of investment from Roman to buy a emerging striker rather than splashing £50M's on the Pato's, Villa's, Benzema's & Aguero's!!
