The golden guus has weaved his magic wand. what particularly pleased me with the TMO was the ability without sentiments to sub Lampard (who could not fit into the midfield blockage for quite some time). it was resolute defending and at best Barca took shots from outside baring some few one on ones.

at the bridge its a different proposition....attack, attack and be careful at the back. the back 4 of barca is suspect (with puyol and marquez out), we need to pepper them. its gonna be a high scoring game again at the bridge but we must win at the end.

le the TMO weave his magic again and ROME here we come

Well Barca didn´t seem that great like the hype that was on. We let them attack and they couldn´t materialize it. I guess Guus didn´t want to take risk because bosingwa had to play out of position and anelka was one card short of next game ban. But now in next leg we have Cole back, and most probably we´ll start anelka as well. Now Guus knows how they play, he´d be busy this week devising a plan to crush barca next week. I´m sure we´ll be favourites to go through now. We need to attack, but we need to keep everything defensively tight as well. Second leg would be really great to watch.

there was only one time when I felt worried, that was bojan's missed header in extra time
I was quite angry that drogba missed that golden chance, if it wasn't enough his first shot was saved, it was parried straight back to him and he shot in the exact same place, he knows he messed up
the big problem was that we didn't actually attack, we played some sort of 4-2-3-1, except lampard was restricted somewhat and essien likes to be in the middle but was being forced foward too much

we really frustrated barca, they were puzzled, they simply couldn't score, I was surprised anelka was not brought in for lampard, laugh if you will, but lampard was not pushing past the halfway line and anelka likes to start his attacks there
barcelona have thrown their strongest at us, now they have injuries at the back plus a suspension so we can be sure they will be very blunt at the back, I really thought alves and ballack were heading off tonight, they both looked set for it

next time we face barca, we need to be looking at a real attack, I guess if we rest ballack, play essien back in the middle behind lampard, push lampard up abit more and play kalou on the right, we'll do a hell of alot better

im expecting us to win on penalties at the bridge, if barca couldn't win tonight, I have no belief in them winning in london
guardiola has done alot for barca, but tactically, he does not know where to go, I'd expect him to go to a 2 striker formation which would play right into our hands, i was happy with bosingwa tonight, he did give me concerns when he kept trying to dribble out of our half, next week having ashley back would really allow us to attack but the question is ivanovic? he made challenges tonight i doubt bosingwa ever will

anyway, if there is a team on the planet capable of stopping barca, it's chelsea, we've shut them out, now can we put some goals past them?

This is a good result for us, we can rest some key players this weekend, while Barcelona must go all out against Real Madrid in the Clasico this weekend. There will be thousands of blue flags back home at the Bridge, the players will be well-rested and determined, they will play in front of their supporters knowing a return to the Champions League Final is at stake. Ashley Cole will be a big boost for us, we will need to keep a tight back 4 and Drogba must be unleashed. I am very confident Chelsea will win this tie. The final in Rome is within our grasps.

My Chelsea team didnt disappoint me at all. It is all in our hands to lose now at Stamford bridge. Guus is so wonderful with his tactics, He led barca to believe we'll attack from the start. He doesnt want to attack a bit thats why he refused to bring on anelka ealiar
