we really cut it fucking close there. Really in all truth we have to start getting the killer second goal which we could have had on many opportunities especially the clearance of Drogba’s chip. But all in all my joy over the last minute magic provided by Ballack and Lampard (who else could it have been? lol) make this victory all the more sweeter and will no doubt give an added boost of four straight victories by the odd goal on the trot!

With Essien returning, Drogba reaching his form and stratign to be a professional instead of a whiny little brat, we can at least gain some self-respect back and end the season on a solid note.

And as far as Liverpool are concerned… bloody chock artists they are when it comes to the business end of the season! All hype and no productivity when it comes to domestic play as they are one trick ponies – STICK TO CHAMPIONS LEAGUE REDS!

SUPER FRANK DOES IT AGAIN …. Great result but I have to say Wigan were brilliant today, they played so well in the second half and we were simply left to defend. The minute Wigan scored my head went down, that bad sour taste was back in my mouth and I thought here we go again but moments later I was running around the house screaming my lungs off, my girlfriend thought I had won the lottery but winning this game is as good as winning a lottery simply because we snatched it, otherwise we would of been 12 points behind UTD before them even kicking the ball. Liverpool have lost 2-0 to Boro, which means as so many times before this season we are levelled on points with them again but lead them by goal difference. Although as pointed out earlier this game was dominated by Wigan in the second half but we also can’t ignore the fact that our team looked tired. Playing 3 high tempo games within 7 days is no joke, Aston Villa, Juve and even Wigan are all notorious for their quick play and dogged defense, so to win all 3 games does show the confidense we are playing with atm. But at the same time the team needs some well deserved rest. Mancienne was the only new face today on the pitch and I must admit with some polishing the lad can shine for Chelsea. Another point to be noted was the minute Quaresma came on the tempo of the game picked up from our standards, he provided some brilliant crosses and did well on the flanks, Im sure he will play on monday again alongside Essien for the reseves. Most people have been complaining why we are not using him, well the answer is simple he is simply not match fit, that’s why he is playing for the reserves and proving himslef so he can play in our starting XI. A good performance overall and with 3 wins on the trot now the feel good factor is on the high, now all we need to focus on is the training and our style of play. It would take another 2/3 weeks for Guus to implement completely his style of play into our squad and till then we have to hustle for results and keep up the momentum. Chelsea 4 Life!!!!!

It’s a great weekend liverpool lost, arsenal draw. Wish that also man utd will lose next game and it will fill the completely perfect weekend !

Was happy with the win , but exicted with the spirit & belief the team had after the equalizier. The spirit , which carried us through for 4 years, helped us score a 95 min winner against wigan in the opening game of 05 season, the belief which helped us equalize in 90 min at barca in cl, I think that is begining to come up .. As drogba said, the team has to belief, they can’t lose…

Terry by the way has become the top scoring defender..

if lampsy wouldnt have scored and we would have drawn instead..that would have been our own faults. We kinda go back to slow-gear at times and we gave them confident to attack us. I was actually impressed wit the way Wigan played. they are touch team and they did press us. in the first 20 I was wondering if it was a replica chelsea team out there=)
but we did come along fine after we scored the goal.

What a thrilling game!!! Frank is the Man of the Season for Chelsea!!! EPL08/09 belongs to him…..
At the end of the game, all the Blue fans celebrated and smile with their widest lips, except Guus, and I’m very happy with the fact that he is not very happy at all. That shows his intent and his expectations. The man is a perfectionist. And for that I’m extremely happy. But not as happy as when Frank hits the winner as I am a fan and not the manager. So, until we fully see a very happy Guus, Chelsea is still on the road of recovery and that means more room of improvement. So will the flag goes any higher this season… definitely!!! KTBFFH and higher!!!!!!

Starting 17 minutes were extremely nervy and i almost thought we´d concede a goal, but then our team got into business straight away. That was an absolute screamer from JT. that goal from Wigan was a shocker though, i´dn´t expected them to score such a good goal, but then Ballack is a power and threat in air. He won the ball for Franky to cooly nod in the ball into the net. There was a lot of determination in our side.

I feel that the lads are fully fatigued, and i really want some of the regulars to rest for the next game.

People must understand that while at times Terry the Defender may not be worth that much but Terry the Legendary Chelsea Captain is worth far more than that; its priceless. Chelsea without Terry is like the current Arsenal. As much as super Frank can wear the armband, I would much prefer him dictating the midline going forward and focus on getting the goals. Terry’s role is similar to Raul for Real and Maldini for AC… unless he retires… he should remain at the heartbeat of Chelsea. KTBFFH!!! Long Hail Terry!!!

Don’t any of you think, that Gareth Bale deserves to be at a club with FA league and UEFA Champions league title ambitons… seeing that he has proven himself to be a superb player at such a young age and if he came to Chelsea… he would be the first name on the team’s sheet…
And seeing that Wayne Bridge was sold and now were going to have to buy a left-back in the summer…
And Chelsea will probably go through changes in the summer?

i just watched Inter Vs Roma. was a hell big match. I thought Jose´is gonna lose for the for the first time at home after this incredible 111 matches, but the special one did it again. It was 0-2 till half time and 3-3 full time.

Inter under Jose´and Chelsea under Guus are very alike. They both have the same problem right now, too many matches and same players playing again and again and again, except just one or two changes. In both teams, if they fail to inject fresh bloods then i feel they are gonna end miserably due to fatigue. My suggestion for both coaches is to use reserves….. Last time we one simply because of one reason and that is, players wanted to impress HIddink. They are hiding there tiredness, and i know someday it will be too much of burden for them. So request our coaches once again, please use reserves!!!!

seems the recent jinx of winners of la liga and premiership will not be broken this year i.e if Man U wins, Real Madrid wins, if chelsea wins, Barcelona wins and if Arsenal wins, valencia wins.

The only way to MU falling is loosing to INTER at champions league.Someone must stop them,its not us,its not liverpool,but it is Special One.

All 3 games for GH have provided goals in first 25 mins. (AV 19th min),(JUV 13tn min) and (WIG 25th min).
Thats a good sign but then they tend to relax and thats where problems can come like it almost did in the last match.
We start off very passionately but the moment we score the finishing tends to fade away.

Hope GH is taking this seriously and coming up with an answer.

I was just reading some news on Chelsea and well it seems like Rijkaard will be our next manager, it seems like a deal has already been secured and the good news is that Roman wants Hiddinks to complete his Russian duties and then come back to Chelsea and manage our training and youth system, which is always a bonus for us!! Rijkaard is a CL winner with Barca so he has the pedigree of managaing big clubs and handling the pressure and he also has an eye for talent and he likes to build his team in somewhat SAF’s mould by having a utility player for each position. Chelsea could of easily won the PL this year, the only problem we have is that we don’t have many good subsitutes and also our youth (as good as we might say they are) are never given the chance to shine.

We’re playing Pompey tomorrow in what promises to be a white wash for Chelsea but looking at what Boro did to Liverpool there is reason to be cautious because teams in a relagation battle will give their 100% in every match from now on. Fortunetly for us, Guus knows this aswell and will not take this game easy and im sure neither will the players. The only thing I want to change for tomorrow is to let the youngsters have a go, Mancienne, Stoch and Di Santo should be given their oppurtunity to play in this game. I think we should play a formation like this:
