Reply to MIke Ayad:
I an not "Israeli", but I am from israel also, if I said I was from egypt or UAE would that have been OK? What's the difference, we are all Chelsea ans and that's what's important.
I think sacking LFS was the right thing to do, however I'm a little bit concerned about GH's abillity to distribute his time between the Russian national team and CFC.

I fully agree with Mr Roman Abromavich concerning the dismissal of Luis Philipe Scolari. I don’t think Mr Roman Abromavich obtained accurate information (concerning Avram Grant’s successor). The sacking of Luis Philipe Scolari actually saved his reputation ( also take this into consideration imagine if Chelsea ended the season in fifth postion).

Luis Philipe Scolari is a bit of a nutter if you ask me? (but I think he has some sound wisdom concerning the technicalities of a football match). Luis Philipe Scolari turned Chelsea into a little malteese poodle? I don’t think major (Man Utd, Barcelona and Madrid etc.) clubs fear Chelsea anymore. Chelsea lost the “fear factor” that it had under the “special one” and our players will either become unsatisfied, want more money or even turn on each other.

Mr Roman Abromavich did the right thing by releasing Luis Philipe Scolari. If Mr Roman Abromavich can appoint a respectable manager we can still turn this trial around. We need a manager who has the respect of the players (not the youth manager etc.) he must be football literate (up to date), also he must be capable of handling key players and most importantly the new manager must be a winner with a capital W.

The majority of Chelsea supporters would prefer an innate manager.

Unfortunately the managers given to us by our BC does not fit the above criteria… same old boring faces.

Cheers
I think Guus needs to play full strength Chelsea against Watford despite any fatigue players may be feeling. Just so he knows how we perform in games first hand and what he needs to adjust. I really don't care about the result here but I do hope he can breathe some life back into the squad before the two big games.

Guss won´t be managing this game against Watford. It would be Ray.
I think im alone in here, but here it goes:

Stability builds clubs, not money. Stability wins cups, not money. Most of you guys seem like spoiled little brads who keep complaining someone broke your toy.No new Coach is gonna get the job done as miracles dont happen twice, when JM came he wasnt even expecting that results in his first year, its a shame but now every manager here on after will be judged by those results. You need at least 1 or 2 years to shape a team maybe even more if its about changing the playing style with the players you already have. Two managers sacked mid-seasson and a total of 4 coaches in less tahn 2 years is not the proper way to be a "dominant force".

And also:any good manager can get in the hole and have a series of bad results but you only know you have a good manager when it turns that series around. But for that you need a little patience, something most Chelsea fans have to learn, mostly because they got spoiled by JM.

Whatever the choice is for the new manager next year, I do hope Hiddink considers staying, regardless of the results this year, the club most of all needs stability.
i fully understand that stability is absolutely necessary, but only if its under a decent leadership. Scolari´s reign in chelsea was like Robert Mugabe ruling Zimbabwae and we were heading nowhere. Thats why everyone in this blog admit that sacking JM was the worst thing to do, but not the sacking of AG and LFS. We are still in search of a suitable replacement.

I agree with you, MiguelC, on the fact that we need stability in the side. We can't throw coaches and managers away routinely. But the fact is, we removed Scolari because he was bad AND did not show any sign of improving. His style was the same, one-dimensional, 'beautiful' football to be played on the grass at all times. It was so predictable. C'mon, how many times have we seen the ''Mikel-->Lampard-->Bosingwa--> (weak cross into the box)'' move ?

Managers like Alex Ferguson only stayed at Man United because he gave them reason to believe hes good. Had Scolari mixed the team around, admitted fault and Actually changed formations, rotated players, tried new stuff, we wouldve probably kept him much longer irrespective of any wins.

I certainly hope Guus Hiddink can bring in the aforementioned changes to our team, as he says 'we have brilliant individuals, he just needs to gel them into a team'

About the Watford clash, Im hoping for this formation:
---------------------------------Hilario---------------------------------
---Ferreira--------Alex----------Mancienne-----------Ivanovic------
------------------------Belletti-----------------------------------------
--Quaresma------------------Ballack---------------------Kalou------
----------------------Drogba-------Di Santo--------------------------
Subs: Rhys Taylor, Mikel, Deco, Stoch, Kakuta [Lampard Needs some rest ]

for the watford game i would seriously think about some rotation
------------------------cech
ivanovic----mancienne----alex-----ferriera
---------------------belletti
-------------deco--------lampard-------
quaresma-------------------------------kalou
---------------------drogba
SUBS: Hilario, stoch, di santo, terry, ballack, malouda, a.cole

Thats a pretty full strength side, if we start doing ok b4 1/2 time take off quaresma and drogba and throw in di santo and stoch in second half, ballack for lampard in 70-80th minute.

I think Guus needs to play full strength Chelsea against Watford despite any fatigue players may be feeling. Just so he knows how we perform in games first hand and what he needs to adjust. I really don't care about the result here but I do hope he can breathe some life back into the squad before the two big games.

Scolari gave an interview to France football magazine where he stated that Chelsea had no special players. He goes on to say that Robben was a special player at Chelsea who could change matches. And that we needed Robinho to succeed?!!! He says our team is too bureaucratic and he wants a "Brazilian" styled team. Fact is, he was given a good Chelsea squad minus any messi or robinho type players. Big deal. Any decent manager would've been relishing at the chance to use a team that we have and probably would've done better.

Folks, lets get into the Watford game - one of the better chances for silverware this season.

John Terry is out . Jose Bosingwa and Ashley on 4 yellow cards , so one booking from missing the third place clash with Villa.. Will Ray wilkins play both of them ??

How about John Obi Mikel. Will he be kept fresh for Villa and Juventus clash or will he be played ?

I think im alone in here, but here it goes:

Stability builds clubs, not money. Stability wins cups, not money. Most of you guys seem like spoiled little brads who keep complaining someone broke your toy.No new Coach is gonna get the job done as miracles dont happen twice, when JM came he wasnt even expecting that results in his first year, its a shame but now every manager here on after will be judged by those results. You need at least 1 or 2 years to shape a team maybe even more if its about changing the playing style with the players you already have. Two managers sacked mid-seasson and a total of 4 coaches in less tahn 2 years is not the proper way to be a “dominant force”.
