It has been reported that Fiorentina and Chelsea have finally agreed terms for the transfer of defender Branislav Ivanovic.

The Serbian star has become frustrated by his lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge.

Milan unsuccessfully pursued the 24-year-old last summer, but it now seems that Fiorentina have had more luck in negotiations.

According to Sky Sports, after weeks of painstaking talks, Ivanovic will finally become a Gigliati player.

Ivanovic is a non-EU player and so won’t be available for Fiorentina initially, but he should arrive at the end of the season.

There are suggestions that Manuel Da Costa may move the other way once his loan spell at Sampdoria ends.

As yet, the details of the agreement between the two sides are unclear.

To answer your question, I don’t think Roman would sell Chelsea FC. The sale I was talking about was that of the players.

my opinion: give scholari time. Roman please dont sell chelsea. Change the officials at the club.I have been saying this from the very begining of the Roman’s take over. That guys was the major reason for Jose to leave chelsea…Now nothing to say about jose…if he come back it will be good.
so BC please give me the answer.

everyone pretty much wrapped up the transfer rumors. I would still love to c a striker coming to stamford bridge. We really need 1 if v want to have any chance of lifting a title..if v dont have the cash, give the youngster regular chances…initially substituting then after 45 min and c how they are getting along. We need fresh legs and adrenaline rush and that comes through youngsters…lets not run around robinho and company anymore..lets build r selves and r youth so strong that people themselves want to end up at the bridge. Scholari can do wonders with training the new lads..he has made mediocre players into stars and if v get behind him and start cheering him up at matches he might work his magic he has been famous for. people mentioned about Arsene Wenger and I really respect him for what he has done for Arsenal. He has made there youth system so strong that they dont have to run around in tranfer windows..he is major in economics and knows the value of money..maybe we wont start to get instant results but trust me v will be on the right side of the road for the rest of the journey

dont forget that while mourinho and grant had an amazing assman while scolari lost his not much into the season, such a loss is big since scolari doesnt know the competition as well as clarke did. Since clarke left the back has gotten weaker and west ham has only got better. Clarke is a very able assman, able to organize all the little things and add quite a bit of tactical knowledge. Very big loss but i think chelsea will benefit if zola does well in west ham(who are dirt poor and all their players are leaving, doing well is not being relegated) and gets some experience, i can expect both clarke and zola back to chelsea. Scolari is only readying chelsea for zola who is still on training wheels.

Big Phil is still adjusting. You have to account that he HASN’T HAD: a full squad yet, money to buy like Mourinho, players in their prime, full fan support, etc. Yeah, everyone got excited with our early season performance, but we started with an easy schedule early with no big tests. I think we are building confidence and hitting our stride. I also believe he should start youth attackers intermittently in place of defensive players and that we need to understand we aren’t going to be getting the best of Drogs, Ballack, etc anymore. True Blue til I die, let’s win these fucking things!

robinho transfer aint gonna happen in this window. and all this talk about tradin some players plus cash for him? he is not worth it. Have u guys seen him perform in the big games????? He is a decent player but not worth all that.
we should steal arshavin before arsss sign him but I doubt zenit will allow him to go away that cheap.

Chelsea have plenty of decent young talent who could break through, the best of the lot is easily gael kakuta, he is an amazing winger, for a 17 year old he is a prodigous talent. Stoch and di santo will slowly transition into the team now that we are short of players in those roles.
Also ivanovic is well liked by scolari but ivanovic plays best as a fullback or attacking CB, when carvalho was gone ivanovic got more game time next to terry because they complement each other, terry is big and strong in the air, ivanovic is better in the tackle and great on the ground. When carvalho plays scolari prefers alex because alex is terry-lite and can speak portoguese like carvalho and bosingwa can. Essientially all he does is swap like for like. If alex leaves mancienne could replace him but again mancienne is similar to carvalho more then terry.
Chelsea wont buy players i think unless we find a bargain.
