Raj – Ballack played 90 minutes for Germany against Wales on Wednesday night – despite German claims he was unfit.

Chelsea will announce more news on Friday, you have to remember that most of the players won’t return to Cobham until late Thursday afternoon, early Friday morning (after International duty) then they have to get on the plane to the North East to play Middlesbrough, Saturday lunchtime (UK time that is)

Chelsea are monitoring the fitness of JT, Ashley Cole, Petr Cech. I doubt if there will be anymore news until Friday pm (UK time) when Big Phil gives his pre match conference before the ‘team’ travel to Middlesbrough for the lunchtime kick off on Saturday (kick off 12.45pm UK time).

There are ‘massive’ rumours that Michael Mancienne will be starting on Saturday ahead of JT and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest that Alex will start instead of Ricky.
