Maybe that's the case, they might be here for money, both of them. But I don't believe Anelka's heart. I believe Drogba's. His heart is on the field. I can see how hard he plays.
You slag off on Anelka WAY too much! He was not the worse striker on the pitch against United - Drogba was!

Kalou deserves to get more time, but Anelka is going to play a key role in our team this season, so everyone needs to get used to it and get behind their players, even when they are struggling.
We are behind our strikers. We love Chelsea, we love our team. But we share our thoughts, and we also say the truth. When Drogba got a red card in Moscow, we were saying horrible things. Now he's back, and getting fitter and fitter, and we're not so mad. But you saw Anelka's performance against United. An 8 year old could have scored that shot from 3 feet out. It's inexcusable, and there's only one explanation: his head or heart (most likely both) isn't in it for some reason.
I mean, I'm not saying he doesn't love Chelsea, or that he doesn't want to play for us, or he doesn't want to win. He just lacks what Drogba has, what characterizes most of our player, Terry being the best example of it. Jose Mourinho knew all about it. He lacks the desire to win that is so great, it seems nothing can stop it.
Drogba at 60 percent or less in the United game was more threatening than a healthy and playing-for-a-few-matches Anelka.
Anelka's just not performed at Chelsea. He hasn't. Well, maybe in the four-goal game against Milan. Oh, wait, that was a friendly. Didn't count. And in the grand scheme of things: Pointless.
I don't think he should be sold. I still think we haven't tested his relationship with Drogba enough. I still think they can work together. But to start him as the lone striker always spells disaster.
