Avram Grant Sacked!
The official Chelsea website has confirmed that Avram Grant’s contract as manager has been terminated today. Not really a surprise. Very good move by Roman. Hats off to him for sacking his underperforming friend.
Chelsea Football Club can confirm that Avram Grant has had his contract as manager terminated today (Saturday, May 24). This follows meetings over the last two days. Everybody at Chelsea FC would like to thank Avram for his contribution since taking over as manager last September. We will now be concentrating all our efforts on identifying a new manager for Chelsea and there will be no further comment until that appointment is made.
Yes, Grant is his friend but he knew that he was not up to it. It is fair to say that Grant got what he deserved. He should not be complaining much. Good luck Avram Grant. Thanks for the champions league finals. All the best.
No news on the new manager yet. Any guesses already?

Great News, but poll is pointless

Well about AG.
He came in as the “opportunistic one”,then was the “average one” carried on as the “lucky one” and leaves as the “loser one”.
13. Adam
Can’t say I’m sad to see him go. I thought he deserved another chance based on his results but again, I can’t complain. I’m intrigued by a new manager; my first realistic choice would be Sven Goran Eriksson. Who know though. I’m happy the Chelsea management showed some balls and went back on their appointment of Grant.
14. LOYADAYSTAR
tooo many egoes not enough graft from the player, chelsea need a striker, clark could manage the playing but with all the egoes and non performing strikers, it callsfor broom a very large broom to sweep all the mojoes dead wood. Its refreshing to see player and managers on over 100k a week get the sack, well done roma, may isuggest steve McClaren is not suitable but sven has the ability ands is available.
15. SH.IBRAHIMI
Roman Abramovich - please of all the managers the one that i dont want in Chelsea is Roberto Mancini cos with Jose reported to join Inter he become available and i heard some news that we’re interested in him so please not Mancini .. i would prefer Rijkaard or Hiddink..
16. mike ayad
everyone would like mourinho back at the club but i think mourinho would decline the oppurtunity so the person i would really like is rijkaard because he is experienced and he can bring good football to the bridge through himself and ten cate!!!!
rijkaard to chelsea would be amazing…i hope my wish comes true…
17. adam
jose is the only one for the job, he would be straight back in and back to what we do best. NO1 ELSE WILL DO
18. IwasMissingJose
we all fans should specially request jose to come back. He has some unfinished jobs left out here.
is there anyway to do so BC?
19. GermanFan
Jose back dor the quadruple next season .
BTW get Cristiano Ronaldo just to annoy AF.
20. TBF
He was goin to be sacked irrespective of result IMO.English media loves jose n quite interesting to note that roman gifted jose 2 million’s ride…insurance policy for the future maybe..
21. bella
He was a friend of the boss promoted on the basis of his connections.
Hung around like a vulture undermining Mourinho because Jose never wanted him there.
Quite happily took the poisoned chalice up with a multi million pound pay packet.
All the charisma of a wet pair of underpants.
Spent his time belitting Mourinho’s achievements and style of play whilst then saying how much he “respected the past”.
Invented “facts” about our league position and how terrible things were when he took over which were patently untrue.
Appeared often tactically naive, relying on his underlings to do the work.
Appeared to lack the respect of the key players in the squad until perhaps the very end.
Looked like a fish out of water with the media.
Grant was the “almost one” rather than the special one.
He almost won the Carling Cup.
He almost won the League.
He almost won the Champions League.
Never got close in the FA Cup.
Thanks but no thanks Grant, take your qualities whatever they may be back to Israel or go back to putting cones out at Portsmouth again.
You were a nice person, decent and quiet man but that’s not enough.
I’m glad justice was served in a way.
By “justice” I mean that it proves that you need great qualities as a manager to win and win consistently with a squad even of great players like we have. Mourinho had that in spades, Grant does not and I never though he did despite the apparent good results.
22. MourofEssien (MoE)
BC and everyone, Am more convinced than ever that Roman has been reading this blog and others and knows how much most fans desperately want a world class manager instead of Average grant. At least, i know that he watches Chelsea Tv religiously and listens closely to views of fans. So on behalf of us BC fans, I, one of those who together with JoseHoliday have blasted roman the most, wish to applaud him for the savvy decision. its always better late than ever.
Keep reading the blog, Roman.
23. MourofEssien (MoE)
Bella, spot on as always
24. GermanFan
@Bella
very good analysis, spot on.
It will be a pity if Mourinho is not back, I dont think he will as the local press claims he is joining Inter, but what a pity he should be brought back before he signs with Inter.
Mind you Sven is a brilliant manager too, and if he joins Chelsea he will get the CL and that will delay the return of Mourinho.
Lets face AG friendship with Roman should stay intact, after all a very very mediocre manager (AG) got a golden handshake of around £5MM, where else would he get that?
Maybe with his luck he should play the european lottery.
Why isn’t BC commenting? is he upset that AG got the elbow?
25. henry
Grant was a good coach and not the best. Next manager for chelsea will find it difficult to survive one season without silver ware.
First we should buy a coach and then enter the transfer market. Let the coach decide on the players he want. Rather than play with the ones our scouts get.
Our scouts are very poor in recruiting compared to other clubs.
26. BlueChampion
Lol German Fan!
I absolutely loved this news. I have my respect for Grant but he was pants at the job. Most of you should know that I’m no fan of Grant and have been waiting to see him go. No need for those petitions anymore (or may be Chelsea FC heard about the fans petitions to oust Grant?!). Best wishes to Grant.
Let’s bring back JM, shall we?
27. Maysam
This is the best thing happened after jose’s departure.
28. Cashif
Jose is probably completing his move to Inter as we speak.
Mancini has been the one wh has been most strongly linked. I hope I’m wrong
Next, we know Sven is about to be kicked out by Shinawatra.
Most likely:
1- Mancini
2- Sven
Personally?
1- Hiddink
2- Laudrup
3- Hughes
4- Redknapp
29. Denver
have u forgotten that there will be a clear out….expect Rijkaard…. i like the guy but JM is the IDEAL MANAGER for chelsea. With that said it will only be possible for jm to come back after the new manager has done his term, so a return is possible a few years from now … but will he have the same magic…. I don’t know. good luck to Grant in what every he does.
Now down to business… we can expexct Dos santos to come along with Rijkaard Dos Santos admires Rijkaard.
We will have to see if JM takes a few of our players…..
we will have a LB problem if Bridge leaves….we could push Malouda down there but that would be evil. we have (terry riccy…???, Alex, ivanovic, Alcides….BCs)
we can either convert Ivanovic into a RB to back up Bosingwa.
I think we should get Diego/ Van Der vaart, Quaresma, Dos santos,
so the middle would be. First choice in the middle would be Diego (because he is a brazillian)
we also need very good backup to cech…… suggestions….. anyone….
———————–Cech———————-
Bosingwa/Ivanovic—–Ricky??/Alex/Alcides—–Terry/Ivanovic——A.cole/Bridge/Ivanovic
/Ferrera/Belleti..??? Alcides/
———–Essien/Mikel/
Lamps/VDV or Diego/Ballack——–
Robino/j.cole/Dos Santos— Quaresma/malouda/Sinclair
Anekla/Kalou/Dos Santo Gomez/villa/Pizzaro
30. Denver
Roman was only correcting a mistake he made back in September …… They want a squad of around 22 players so expect utility players….. Bosingwa can also play as a RM. I know for a fact that JM would have have what it takes to win those finals grant lost….because JM is a winner.
Arsenal are linked with Gomez who is the perfect replacement for Drogba (if he leaves)
31. trueplatinum
just the news i needed to help cheer me after our painstaking loss
today marks the start of a prosperous era, dominated by chelsea fc, bring on guus hiddink
32. bella
Jose was the ideal manager for Chelsea until Roman started to interfere and insert many of his cronies into the management structure and upset him.
Jose seems to be a man who requires love and support from people to feel happy and that slowly died on the vine.
Roman meanwhile appears to want to convince himself that as the owner he should be having more of a say in what happens, instead of understanding that is what you pay a manager for.
Much as I admire Jose, unless Roman and he are prepared to undergo counselling to sort out their issues we would sadly just be waiting for the next row to arrive and then he’d be off again.
As Jose seems to have patched up his differences with Roman and the board, I think they should remain friends but not attempt to rewind the clock.
I have a feeling Mancini may leave Inter and Jose will replace him after this and I wish him all the luck in the world wherever he ends up - he is a great coach and deserves it.
Unlike Grant he has actually had to work to prove himself at the highest level, he couldn’t rely on a wealthy mate to just give him a job out of nowhere.
I also believe Clarke and Cate will be ushered out the door soon so that Roman can start with a clean slate.
Cate is no loss but Clarke will be a blow to lose as he was the last link with the successful past.
33. JoseHoliday
Bye Bye AG , you did as much as you could , even though I wasn’t happy with your appointment, it was nothing personal.
But to be honest, I wasn’t that heart-broken that we lost the CL finals that much. donno why , maybe I’m just human too….I have my fair share of unreasonable shite and gripes too
Now on with the football……. We await another season… and what a season it will be !
34. trueblue
just hope lamps, ricky n essien dont leave;coz with jose joining inter,we could lose these 3 ,great news on grant getting d boot
35. bluesluv
AG got sacked on a slip… thats sad and undeserved for any coach
i dont expect all the glory hunters here to understand that, but if u drop a coach
every few years(or months) then how will the team stabilize? i feel sorry for sven and thaksin since the
both have maniacal losers as ex-bosses–
36. Michael
Fair decision. He was given a great team but couldn’t even win a single trophy. Not even the carling cup! Bye Grant you won’t be missed.
37. bombtea
First up, BC, I’ve been lurking this blog for awhile and just wanted to say good job mate, this is a great site and all you chelsea fans, thank you. I live in Toronto (Canada) and all my friends are Arsenal fans. It’s flipping infuriating. It’s nice being able to read some news and opinion from fellow Blues fans.
Anyway, I’m glad Grant’s out. Even though we only finished 2nd, and even though we made it to the CL final (oh the pain, it still hurts), this is still the first season in awhile that mighty Chelsea hasn’t won any, ANY silverware. Inconceivable! I think our successes this year are due to the players. Grant was a nincompoop who didn’t know sh!t about sh!t. Essien as a bloody right back? Are you retarded? All year his substitutions have been loony and he’s got about as much charisma as a bag of flour. We deserve better. Rijkaard’s obvious, though I would rather Guus Hiddink or even, *gasp*, Dick Advocaat. What that man’s done with Zenit is outstanding. Plus he’s Dutch, like Hiddink, so him and Ten Cate can yammer on together in Dutch. Obviously, I want Jose back. He was, as one commenter pointed out, the perfect manager for Chelsea. If he loves the club as much as he says he does, he’ll come back. Roman just better quell his Stalinistic tendencies and listen to the fans.
And I hope we get Robinho. Frankly, any of our current strikers can go wherever they like as far as I’m concerned. Keep Kalou and either Shevy/Drogs/Anelka and let the rest walk. And why the hell haven’t we brought up Sinclair and Sahar and other Chelsea youth players?
Apologies for the rant. Blue for life.
38. Ramji
Hey guys do you know what Roman actually offered JM a limited edition ferrari to bring him back to Chelsea after our Carling Cup Final defeat. Check out the Guardian.

For once more it as proven that money can’t buy anything!!!
Here we see the poorest management ever for a football club
I will not count AG achievements this year (they where platy)
I would only say he should have stayed!!!!
But a group of lowlifes that run this club are taking it nowhere
A shame for a club that is managed by this group
I only hope that this club will get what its deserves
No trophies till no money, then there will be no trophies any way .
Good bye dignity good buy
In one year they sack there best ever manager and then after such a great year they sack what looks like there next best ever.
Funny or sad I have no idea
And you guys the “fans” that I have read some of your poor blooging I can say your coursed from now on and you earned this course fair and square
40. mike ayad
guys..talking about the formation for next year i would like to say that i am scared if we play a 4-4-2 because lampard my favourite player may not be included in the starting line up….. i like the 4-3-3 because it gives the chance for 3 midfielders to play and the bad point of a 4-3-3 is the fact that we only have 1 attacker with no one supporting him except for the midfielders.
so i would like a 4-4-2 if it gives the assurance of lampsy to play in the middle with essien and ballack playing behind the striker like kaka
so next years team:
——————–cech—————–
bosingwa——carvalho—terry—-cole—
————–essien———————
———————-lampard————–
robinho—————————-cole—–
———–ballack————————-
———————–villa—————
anyone like the formation?????

Excuses have no value at Chelsea. Being ‘almost’ is of no use. Trophyless = Underperformace.
45. JoseHoliday
Well it is a good feeling that JM might be back after a few seasons, I can scare the daylights out of Manure fans with that kind of talk ! LOL LOL
JM is the one that ManUre , Aresy, and Liverfool clubs and fans all detest and are afraid of and for good reason:
His presence and handling ensures that they go trophyless
46. Jimmy Greaves
Whatever the cost bring in Harry Redknapp an manager.
The guy is a motivator and will lead Chelsea to glory.
47. serbin
I guess that he is happy and relieved that he has left.He must have felt like a pig in Teheran at Chelsea, constantly under a fire of your insults and critics. However he deserves some credit for getting you to the CL finals.
48. MourofEssien (MoE)
I hear Jose is too close to finalising a contract with inter to come back, but am still hopeful. Otherwise, guys, I want the italian duo of lippi and Zola the legend.
49. JoseHoliday
That’s a good idea !
Harry Redknapp may not be as cool as JM but he is one the most tactically solid coaches around !
50. Blue IS the Colour
hey good to know that AG has finally left us. All said and done, i think we need to start a fresh look at the upcoming season, and as JT rightfully put it in his letter, the road to rome has just begun.
About the manager, any news on Sven Goran Erikssons future at City ? because he is a really good manager, or else Roberto Mancini of Inter is good enough too. What say you BC ?
51. MourofEssien (MoE)
Why go for Mancini when the master Lippi is available? But word from the grapevine is that jose is being expected at stanford bridge on monday. Are we on the brink of having the triumphant return of the special one?
52. MourofEssien (MoE)
Word is that Jose will be re-instated as Chelsea Manager. Simon Greenberg will be transfered somewhere for bottling the PR portion of Jose last year and Frank Arnesen will be removed from his position together with Henk Ten Cate. keeping fingers crossed
53. Nihongo Blue
if thats true MourofEssien there wont be a happier person than me.
cmonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
54. churchill
I just hope that Jose comes back, for more that one reason. 1st, because he is the greatest manager we have ever had, and 2nd, because he will keep riccy, lamps, and essien here.
55. Nihongo Blue
actually look at it this way
if roman asks mourinho to come back and jose agrees its a win win situation for roman.
if jose wins trophies as expected good for chelsea and roman.
if jose doesnt wins it might make easy for the other manager to get a hold with fans who are still dissatisfied with jose sacking
56. IwasMissingJose
Hey HEY MR Abramovich,
there´s one thing we all know,
there is no other better manager
than our old Jose Mourinho!!!
I was very sad when we lost the Champions League
But i never felt so happy, as Grant had to leave!!!
57. TBF
@BC
The comments over here after Grant has been sacked has been the very reason why i have been forced to defend Grant from time to time.
The problem with The whole Grant era is that majority of blues in here have made a solid opinion solely based on Duncan Castles’Article.
The reason they want Grant out is more due to that article than that for footballing reasons.
I don’t have a single regret that Avram is gone………….i had regret for weeks when Jose was gone…………sounds funny but that’s the way it is.
Now,commentors have gone into an overdrive of”Bring Back Jose” slogan……….i don’t mind Jose seriously if he can keep his mouth in control and try to improve the brand of football he has instilled in this team and start accepting blame instead of diverting it on everyone around.[right from refrees to overgrown grass or a certain player].
BC,how do you honestly justify the following comments made by some commentors in here
1.MoE
BC and everyone, Am more convinced than ever that Roman has been reading this blog and others and knows how much most fans desperately want a world class manager instead of Average grant. At least, i know that he watches Chelsea Tv religiously and listens closely to views of fans. So on behalf of us BC fans, I, one of those who together with JoseHoliday have blasted roman the most, wish to applaud him for the savvy decision. its always better late than ever.
Keep reading the blog, Roman.
iS MoE is really that naive to even think that Roman or for that matter any business organisation reads blogs and make decisions?
Still doesn’t beats the MAGICAL CHANTS logic.
2.Bella
Posting Duncan Castles article in expressive and beutiful english doesn’t make your argument any better IMO……..add to that she mentions…………..henk ten cate can go……….clarke should stay.
On What basis, has Bella ever attented training session to access who is a better assis. manager.
3.MoE again
Word is that Jose will be re-instated as Chelsea Manager. Simon Greenberg will be transfered somewhere for bottling the PR portion of Jose last year and Frank Arnesen will be removed from his position together with Henk Ten Cate. keeping fingers crossed
On what basis is MoE making such strong review on Simon,Arnesen[who IMO has done absolute top job at youth level] or HTC for that matter.
4.BC i.e you
Excuses have no value at Chelsea. Being ‘almost’ is of no use. Trophyless = Underperformace
For that matter completely agree………..we should be treating ourselves as the biggest club no doubt and have high standards……..but that high standards include results, trophies and WINNING WITH STYLE…………that’s what Real Madrid did last year…………they sacked a manager who won their first title in 4 years……….replaced him and won the league in real style next year.
But i guess”WINNING WITH STYLE” doesn’t count as Jose was unable to come anywhere near it and for this particular detail we should be a small club, while Real is a big club.
Double standards ANYONE.
I have put the argument in the most decent manner possible and hope that you will reply.

I can’t speak for the rest. I’ll talk for myself.
Duncan Castles article came after Jose was sacked. Right in December, 9 months before TSO was sacked, lost of us knew the role that Grant played in the club, and it was not that of a mere football director. Even when Grant was appointed as the football director, Jose’s reactions did tell us a lot. BBC, Sky, Telegraph etc mentioned that Grant’s arrival is bad news to Jose. Therefore, it was Duncan Castles who told us stories. We’ve been following this for far too long, much before the Duncan Castles article.
Let’s admit that we all don’t go simply by facts and figures. We all have certain beliefs, trusts and preferences. People can and do ‘think’ that Grant spied in the background and plotted JM’s sack and got himself the job. It’s their belief. I believe that Ashley Cole was treated badly by Arsenal. I believe that Theirry Henry is most arrogant of players and I hate him to no end. I believe it is completely Rijkaard’s fault that Barca spent two trophyless seasons. I believe that English football is more respectable than that of Italian football. I have no proof but these are beliefs. You might also have your bunch of such beliefs.
Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea won with style. You can say you did not like that style. But I loved that style. I don’t go by what others or press or fans of other clubs feel about our football. I see with my eyes and make an opinion for myself. I loved it. We won with style. So there’s nothing much to discuss there. You say that Real Madrid won with style. But with what I have seen, I don’t think so. They were not even the top three in terms of quality of football in Spain, when Schuster won the title with them. Perceptions!
You talk about people pouncing on Grant. I have seen loads, loads and truckloads of comments against Jose Mourinho. There are many people out here who support TSO like crazy because they were tired of the stick JM was getting back then. It is quite normal. Chill.
In any of the parameters, Chelsea is a smaller club when compared to Real Madrid. It’s crazy even to compare Madrid and Chelsea.
61. IwasMissingJose
normally i like what TBF writes. But BC can´t you block him when he writes from a planet other than chelsea?
Just joking TBF, don´t take it seriously.
All i know is that JM was never given enough time to improve his squad. They expected him to win every game, every trophy, and thus he didn´t get the liberty to gamble. Should he be given authority to improve squad in couple of seasons, after few seasons we would be unbeateble, and we could do quadraple not once, but a couple of times.
Oh, I´m fantastic!!!
62. BlueChampion
And TBF
Don’t undermine blogs. Did you know know Arsenal’s chairman Peter Hill Wood met the author of Arseblog for an exclusive interview, which was also published in the blog later on? Of course clubs read blogs but that does not mean Roman types in http://www.bluechampions.com in his internet browser.
63. SH.IBRAHIMI
i just heard that Chelsea reject Mancini i’m very happy for this cos i dont think he’s the right man for us so the best would be to bring Jose back but i would be happy if one of the Hiddink,Rijkaard or Lippi gets the job too ..
64. Nihongo Blue
this is what man utd fans were discussing on redrants for successor to fergie..of course jose was one of them..it was posted by the author and not of any comments… main part of the article there..
Mourinho struggles most on number 4. Yes, he may have been Porto-centric in his first phase at Chelsea, but that changed as he went on, and now he has a pretty cosmopolitan network of contacts. And no, his football isn’t as negative as you all think. You forget his first season when, as was pointed out in the comments last time round, Drogba with Cole and Duff supporting from wide, Lampard arriving from midfield and the full-backs bombing on was remarkably effective. Notice any similarities to our current formation?
still speak of style?? it was just 2006-2007 because of injuries in defence our style suffered
65. Nihongo Blue
what man utd played this season was quite similar to joses first 2 seasons

Guys after all, where would AG get the money he got, as a pathetic manager, in any other club?
Once again AG got ahead with that money because RA is his friend, c’mon AG dont say you upset and hungry, you should go to your church and thank all your angels, got £5MM for losing every competition that chelsea entered.
Spend almost all season claiming the injuries, the ANC etc etc, claiming that Cheslea were playing better football since he took over, denigrating JM’s fantatsic achievements, yes in the 1st 2 seasons Chelsea did played sexy attacking football, in the end Chelsea players peaked at the right time because most had half of the games played than the other 3 top teams. Still with a team at his peak, he fields Essien at RB,to the delight of Alex Ferguson, puts Anelka again in the wing, c’mon AG double the dose of vitamins man, eventually you will see a result.
I wish I had friends, like AG, achieved nothing and still walks with 5 million.
BTW JM interview is soooooooooooooooo true.In football terms “almost” is nothing.
68. joeblue
ppl here slated Avram, they said Roman was dealing in double standards (guess it seems not), whoever does not perform does not stay, at a big club every manager, be it even SAF, has to give consistent trophies that too with style, and by trophies i dont mean the mickey mouse cup and the community services,i mean the big trophies like the CL and the EPL, Grant didnt get any so he is gone, Jose dint get any in his last season and he went, same is the case at Madrid, Roman is here to make Chelsea a legendary club, and not just for the trophies but a lot more, something ppl will never forget, yes the style and class!!
People dont remember second class players who cld park the bus in frnt of the goal and win, but individuals who cld make magic out of nothing, teams which played superb fluid flowing football, thats why SAF and Manu are one of the best teams on the planet, thats why Real Madrid are the most legendary team ever…and hats off to Jose for what he did but i doubt Roman wld be foolish enough to go one step back and bring something which is now stale and wasted(even uneffective), now pls dont give the crap abt Jose trying to play beautiful football, for all his supossed ‘hollywood star looks’ his team played the ugliest and most pathetic football in this world!!
i pray and hope this never happens, watching Jose’s ‘tactical’ football is worse than watching my grandma snore….

@52. MourofEssien (MoE) I think Roman is going to try and convince JM to come back!! so dont be surprise if Jm shows up at the steps of the Bridge. And if he does not look for Rijkaard. I think this was just to prove to Roman that JM knows what he is doing and Roman should not doubt him(JM).

if Roman reads Chelsea blogs in addition to him attending matches and even training sessions sometimes then I am not sure how he looks after his business…

I now hear that Mark Hughes is a new favourite for the job … I dont think so !! Yea he is doing well in the EPL but can he do well in Europe I dont thinks so !!! get us the special one!!!!! and if not JM the go for Rijkaard and lets us get in those creative players Roman likes…. I wont like I love chelsea but sometimes we play very negative football, just ask Lamps he probably has the most back passes by a chelsea player. WE can not loose Essien, he is one of our best players…we need to get Vander vaart, Diego. I cant wait to see the kind of players we will start buying. buy that time we will know what the team will look like and which formation they have in mind play

Jose won’t come back, not this season, maybe not ever. This is our problem because there is no one else like him; he is a one-off. Sven, Hughes, Mancini, Rijkaard, Scolari, Laudrup, Lippi seem to be the front runners though lots of the fans want Zola. Sven is too weak a personality, Hughes’ heart is with ManU, Rijkaard (the spitter) treated us with contempt, Scolari is too temperamental - that leaves Mancini, Lippi and Laudrup. If Abramovich wants attacking football he won’t go for an Italian so that leaves Laudrup who hasn’t really been proven. As for Zola, I’m not sure he wants to leave the Italian youth side until he has made a major impact. Whoever is appointed (and I think it will be sooner rather than later with the summer tours coming up) is going to have an interesting time. I really, really hope it won’t be Rijkaard. I don’t know if Stamford Bridge can ever forgive him. Of course there is always Steve Clarke who the fans & players both respect but I doubt if he has the big profile Abramovich wants.

Chelsea TV is broadcasting a special programme Monday night (tomorrow) 6:30p - 8:00 BST about Grant’s leaving. Perhaps there is going to be an announcement.

Hey BC don´t be so irresponsible. This is the time to act.
Start up a new Column “JOSE WE WANT YOU BACK!”
(why am i rhyming all the day?)
Ás you said, club reads it, RA reads it, and i hope JM reads it. We, as Chlesea and Jm fans, should make our voice loud and clear, so that they hear what we want. We have an advantage, big RA loves Chelsea, we love CHelsea and JM loves CHelsea. May be our voice would help change his mind, if not totally, a bit of it?

Its opportunity for us show our tactics to bring him back. if it makes him come back, we can call ourselves special ones as well! if not, we lost another battle. Come on guys, i can´t hear you.

76@ cmon dude how can u say that Quaresma is not a good player?!! .. he’s one of the best and most skillful wingers in the world right now and as for nobody wants him and i dont if u follow the news cos all the big team want him and maybe u dont know but as 17year he moved to Barca but they didnt treat him well and he return in Portugal and in that time he and Ronaldo were playin together in Sporting and were 2 most promising players at that time and look where r they now with Ronaldo the best player right now and i dont say that he’s better than Ronaldo but he’s in that category so he’s the first player that i want in our team for the next season and he didnt move elsewhere till now is that Porto want big money for him i heard that they’re asking about 40mil for him

BF Quaresma when in top form is even better than Ronaldo.
The same age (difference of about 6 months), the same academy, the same club, and the same coach since they were 11.
The thing is Quaresma is a very lazy player, doesnt defend ast all, when he loses the ball, what Ronaldo also used to do that, but learnt otherwise in ManU.
He is still with Porto because last year he refused to join Atletico Madrid, so Atletico went for Simao.
He had a bad experience with but he was only 19 whne he went there no family no friends so he clashed with Frank.
But sure he is a hell of a player but very temperamental, watch him in the European Cup.
