bluesluv, Eto’o just might be available this summer, but I don’t think he’s too similar a striker to Drogba. Maybe in level of talent, but Eto’o lies a lot deeper and relies more on his feet than his head, as Drogba does. I’d love to see him as a Blue, he’s an electrifying player.

Krisna, ur comparison is invalid. Fletcher is a home grown talent.. not a big name signing.. whereas, SWP is a signing of a staggering £21 million.. and he’s not even on the bench.. that is my argument.. and i do like him as a player..

Krishna, i was talking about myself.. being jealous of the luxury that Chelsea has..
and missing out at the players that we really wanted especially in Robben, Essien, Mikel and now Bosingwa… and seeing how good Essien has become in recent time.

However, in Bosingwa case i’m not really sure. Is he really what Man Utd targetting or is he someone that Man Utd try to nullify Chelsea’s interest in Alves or even Micah..
or is it a sneaky move by Chelsea that left Man Utd empty handed. in last season it shows that Man Utd really secretive over their signings except for Tevez and Hargreaves.

Great signing, I’m sick of seeing Essien in RB, it’s a shame he’s wasted in such a position because the others aren’t doing so well… But perhaps this is not the only portugese we need to sign… A man by the name of DECO might be available as Barca restructure. I hope those in charge will make a move for him!

xersesk, the deal is three years

i have to say, although he is rated, i don’t think he will flourish here
boingwa covers both ends of the flank and is active offensively but he is not a solid defender, much like belletti. To truly utilise bosingwa and the way he plays, you’d need a right winger who is more than happy to play all over the pitch like christiano ronaldo, ricardo quaresma, aaron lennon etc. joe cole and swp dont play a game to suit bosingwa, as well as the fact he wont like the brutality of the premier league
a right back who is worth 16.2 mil, is micah richards, he is quick, solid and provides cover at cb when it is needed as well as defensive midfield.
what we do need to remember, is branislav ivanovic is still developing, it will be interesting to see what happens when he is released from the reserves
franco di santo is promising but im not convinced he will be world class

grant is winidng me up again, wrong player to buy
he also attempted to take torres from liverpool, notthe right player for chelsea as good as he is
grant, send bosingwa back, you’re ruining the team

i read an article on another chelsea blog with the following info–

1. 2 goals in half a season
2. where is he?
3. Promise
4. Yet to arrive MASSIVE price tag however

we could have bought messi instead of these 4 and have gotten the better part of the deal
i think we should get a strong striker drogbaesque and the first name i can think of is eto’o

chelsea has too many players now. Bosingwa i think we payed too much for. Good player(can play as DM if needed) most likely but for 16million pounds hmmm…
We need to trim the fat and that means bye bye sidwell and TBH.
Maka will go back to his normal bench warmer position although i think we should get him to maybe teach mikel how to tackle.
Ivanovic is more of a CB who can do RB duties, similar to carragher as he is now. He will be good as a sub. I think personally i would prefer carvalho to go. Great player and consistent but if we sell him we make some money back and we got alex to pick up his slack.
Should be interetsing silly season.

The question was indeed a serious one. did he get injured in the game against Roma. Isn’t he the captain and shouldn’t he play the important games atleast against Wigan . Why is fergie looking for his replacement – Micah Richards , Danie Allves and Bosingwa himself .. probably interested in the parking the bus syndrome himself in away games . Man U won less games away this season that chelsea

Wondering if Flecther played more games than SWP this season . Why should I be jealous of Man U . I guess you are , missing out on Bosingwa

Bosingwa signed a 4 year contract 80,000 pounds a week, not a 3 year deal.
