He's been the best left back in the world all season, and while he missed a couple matches around the holidays he's come back in roaring form, and I can't think of a single bad performance he's put in since then. Joe Cole also has a case, but a less compelling one in my opinion. Yes, he's been a spark plug, but his stats really aren't that impressive and it's very hard to quantify being a spark plug.
