Let’s beat Everton. Let’s see Man Utd getting beaten by Rovers. Let’s beat Man Utd at SB. Job done. As a first step, let’s beat Everton at Goodison park. I expect Grant to choose a media-friendly full strength team to show that he still believes that the title can be won. Well, we can still win the title. Read the first line again.

We will be missing Drogba and Lampard. I guess Grant will play 4-3-3. The team could be Anelka, Kalou, Joe Cole, Ballack, Mikel, Essien, Belletti, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole and Cech. I’m very very confident that this will be the team that plays tomorrow.

Grant says he will keep fighting until it’s over:

I will not give up until it is over and we will keep fighting – in football anything can happen. But first we need to win, it’s an important game and then we’ll think about other things. It’s very difficult to play at Goodison Park, they are a good team and it’s never easy to play them.

I completely agree. It’s not over until it’s over. He says it’s not easy to play Everton. If you notice, he says this line before every single match against any opposition be it Derby or Sunderland or Wigan or Everton, he says it for every single team. It’s ok, that’s harmless anyway!

For Everton Arteta and Osman are missing. Very key players for Everton. We too are missing Drogba and Lampard but we got Anelka and Ballack, Everton can’t replace Arteta that easily. Moyes has kind of accepted that they won’t make it to the fourth place. Everton are just 5 points short of Liverpool. They have as much chance to overtake Liverpool as we have to overtake Man Utd.

Ex-Chelsea player Pat Nevin, who writes for the official Chelsea website every week has now spoken about Avram Grant. This time it’s not those diplomatic lines that get puclished in the official website.

I’m speaking as someone who just wants the best for the club. I don’t have the ear of chairman Bruce Buck or owner Roman Abramovich. But I would not be devastated or all that surprised if Frank Rijkaard turns up as the Chelsea manager next year.

I write for the Chelsea website every Tuesday and usually ask a little question at the end. Usually, I get a couple of hundred emails per week. But, oh dear, my emails went into meltdown because the only way you can contact the club is through my email address. I’ve got over 1000 emails sitting there and they are not answers to the question. Most seem to think he [Grant] has a problem and that is the important games, yet those games have come against lesser clubs.

They lost a cup final to Spurs when Chelsea basically did not turn up and they lost to Barnsley when the FA Cup was wide open for them. Then, of course, they lost a late equaliser to a Wigan side that were waiting to get hammered. He had left out Drogba and left out Ricardo Carvalho, which was an amazing decision. And, most important of all, he left out Joe Cole for the first half and played Florent Malouda, who was absolutely hopeless. He has only lost three games all season in the league and could still win the Champions League. And can you sack a manager who has just won the Champions League?

The club should certainly take note of Pat Nevin’s polite comments. This man says that he receives thousands of emails every week from fans that are unhappy about Grant. And then we have Grant talking to press that there is a small minority of Chelsea fans who are disappointed. What a joke?!

Lots of rumours about mass exodus, 100 million budget, Kaka, Messi, van der Vaart, Ribery etc but that’s for another day. Everton have won just one out of the last five matches and that one was against Derby. Chelsea to win 2-0.

P.S: Have you got your own GRAVATAR already?
