Did you watch the man utd match at all? It had nothing to do with c.Ronaldo. In fact, he played crap all day till a double substitution from Ferguson and he scored a goal. That’s what a real manager is all about. Ferguson turned they game around; something Grant cannot do.
I don’t know why he has to wait till the 70th and 81st minute everytime before he makes the changes. Anyway, we got our 3 points and that was what really mattered.
Man Utd’s win today was only because they have ferguson… Ronaldo was as good as our SWP today…..lol

*AG will end up in the premiership table between the places 1-3
*Chelsea didn’t do good in europe and even in the league this year(with all the respect to JM as a good manager), until AG start to take control as a manager and changed things around.
*AG statistically, since he is the manager, succeed more than ferguson, wenger and benitez, by winning precentage(we might not take the carling cup&league cup, but we did better than the other top teams in that matter).
and since he is our manager, we did great in the league and the champ’s(one can forget that we played half of the season with our reserves and replacements alike sidwell, ben-haim and pizzaro and others which are very fine but not our top players. but even though we kept on progress
*the lack of love to AG, is not for the lack of success, as he did great relatively until now and not less than any other top manager or even more like i detailed. the lack of love until now is for the reason that he came after a loved manager by the fans, JM. but the boss RA didn’t get along with him and this is life. some achievements and success and time that will hill the pain of JM departure and everyone will be less sentimental and will see that logically AG did great, against all odds, when peoples, lovers as rivals said we are history after JM departure, but on a contrary, we had a great run in the league and champ’s.
That was my personal point of view,

Spurs, Gooners, Boro, City, Wigan, and Fener twice. If Chelsea cannot win these matches, the season is over and so should Grant’s tenure as manager. Rosenweig, a lack of silverware and bad decisions in critical matches is what cost Claudio Renieri his job and many fans liked the Tinkerman. Why should it be any diffrent for Grant? Players liked CR. Drogs has gone from warrior to wimp and the manager is partially to blame. Other players have talked about leaving as well. The man has been toxic. Losing the Carling and being knocked out of the FA (by BARNSLEY) has further polluted what was once the most confident team in the league. If Chelsea can get 10 points from the league opponents and get to the CL Semis, fine Grant can stay until the end of the season. If not, then he should be sent on the first plane to Krygstan. Roman and his gang should immediately find a quality, qualified manager and publicly promise to leave him alone. Clarke can be caretaker enough to get the team to play for pride and the hope that better things are comming.
I only inagine the atmosphere in chelsea if JM was still the manager, with all these next games to play for the league and CL.
I could see JM motivating the players and telling them that, “YES” we are going to win the league, and the players agreeing to that.
Against Spurs I think chelsea will win it, spurs players think they did enough for this season, by winning CC, besides I can see Ramos experimenting with his team with a view for next season, so I do not think it will be the same spurs that played in the CC final.
Arsenal, now have not won 1 game I blieve for more than one month,and also they look tired, with tiredness comes missing opportunities, so I think chelsea will beat them at SB. This leaves ManU,well with Liver at OT I dont think ManU will beat them, Liver is coming good latelly.
So in my opinion, chelsea has the opportunity of a life time to grab the championship back
Regarding CL, after drawing the turkish delight, the semis I believe will be again liver and this time chelsea could top them, law of averages, but it will depend on this monkfish’s tactics and placement of players.
Against sunderland this match just confirmed that chelsea against a slightly better team with a good manager,has difficulty in dominating the opposition. last season we threw away the league? you must be joking. draw at new castle and bolton came after 9 consequtive wins. That too these matches were sandwitched with mid week CL semifinals. What more did you expected of the team with such depleated squad with essien playing as CB playing week in week out. moreover man utd was not dropping point like this season like both top 2 are doing. Had everton keeper not gifted the game to man utd we were in catching distance. i wish we would have won at new castle but i should say i cannot see chelsea determination ever like it was last season. FA didnt helped either by postponing the chelsea man utd clash to a later point. to me last season was all about determination, confidence and character.

JM last year was not caught napping at all, he had not a start of the season as good as the previous one, but he even warned in the begginning that this season would be a much tighter affair than the previous 2.
The only reason he didnt win last season , it was because RA did not supported him, in January, thats all.
He is like most successful men, needs recognition from above, recognition can be shown in many different ways, one is to support your lieutenent, in JM’s case RA would not buy any replacements, hence the pizzaros etc of this world, free tranfers.
By denying his support RA took away the PASSION so needed to JM to succeed, so characteritic of successful people.
In contrast with AG he gave him all the support even bought a top class striker,Anelka, but with all AG’s “experience” and football nous he claims, anelka has so far bottled it.
Anyway comparing JM to AG in foootball terms, is just a waste of time and energy, and because of “global warming” I need to save some energy, so I finish.

last season under Jose to me was when Jose proved what a great manager he was. How many managers faced with the odds he faced, within and without could have remained alive in four competitions till virtually May. how many could have kept their injury plagued team (worsened by owner’s deliberate sabotage, not to mention the bunch of dutch mercenaries backstabbing him daily) and go out only on penalty shootout in the CL, and come second to man utd only in the last few matches?
