Chelsea have missed out on both domestic trophies now.

Does Grant have the ability to win the EPL or the CL now? Or will he go an entire season without a single trophy...?

i think he will be singling out CL more now because he has already won the PRM twice. Sure its great to win it again and winning it gets you a truck load of money something like 100million. The CL though is what brings respect. The italians and spanish do not see english as giants yet because of the early nineties where the english plain sucked. Only when united became a dominant force in late 90s did that kind of change. Win a CL and it shows ur calibre because u beat the italians and so on. That said the current CL might end up causing an interesting predicament, lets say we end up drawing shalke, win that, draw fenerbahce(who somehow won in quarters) and then play an english team in the finals. Ppl will say oh chelsea had the easy draw. Now if all 4 english teams ended up in semi's it would raise eyebrows, considering that english teams have been really dominating the CL in terms of quarter finals onwards appearances im still surprised at the lack of respect given to them

I think what Roman wants is to establish Chelsea as a very large force in Europe as quickly as possible. Thats why he wants 2 CL trophies by 2015. If we take the time to develop youth and home grown players now then we might not see a CL trophy in 10 or 15 years?

Title is almost out, and the hope would be Champions League.

CL isn't easy, what with Chelsea always falling in sudden death matches like CL, and doing well in the league. However, CL winners have always been surprise in recent years (except Barca), and Chelsea could well do it. Hoping, that is.

I am not sure BC but may be more the matches we play more is the ticket sales and that is why we play every copetition seriously. We dont have the biggest of the stadiums but we might be able to compensate it by playing more number of matches in FA and carling cup. Also chelsea ticket prices are the highest. May be that is why our players are over paid?
