I’ve got my players - Huntelaar, Riquelme and Daniel Alves. I’ve exactly used up the 40.8 million given to me by Roman. I tried my best to get Bojan. After agreeing in a hefty price, Barca even allowed me to speak to Bojan, but that little bloke said he did not want to leave Barca for anything. Valencia were not ready to part away with Villa and too much money was expected for Podolski. Anyway, Huntelaar is a great choice to be playing along side Sheva and Drogba. In the midfield, I didn’t have to wait too much my bid for Riquelme was accepted easily and I signed him for a big amount. In defence, I was skewed towards Dani Alves. I wanted him at any cost. So, I was sure that I’d get him somehow. I think the prices I paid were quite fair. 13.75 for Riquelme may look on the higher side, but I was sure of his contribution and they way he could fit into my team and formation. Now my team look so complete.
Meanwhile, the premier league kicked off. And you know what, I’m turning the heat on the champions already. I’ve played 5 premier league matches so far and have won every single one of them. My 4-3-1-2 has been quite a revelation. I’ve been playing Riquelme as the one behind the strikers and during his absence, using Lampard in that role. Even here, Ballack is injured and expected only after a couple of months. When Ballack is back, may be I’ll release Makelele on a free.
You see despite this brilliant run, I’m still No.2 in the table. That’s because Man Utd has also managed to win all their games and not concede even one goal in the process. So they lead the table on goal difference. We also beat Liverpool and Arsenal in the process, rather comfortably as the scoreline shows. In fact, Liverpool got beat 3-1 at Anfield. Do you see who’s there on No.20? Rafa’s got no hopes. Below is the list of my results. You can see that in all but one match, I’ve scored three or more goals. The last match in the below list was in the champions league group stages round. In Group C, Chelsea is joined by Sevilla, Steaua Bucharesti, Spartak Moscow - as easy a draw I should expect.
Just before the Sevilla match, both Belletti and Ferreira got injured and Dani Alves was ineligible and I got a situation. I could have brought on Ben Haim or Bridge on the left but I wasn’t too comfortable with that idea. I thought why not play with three defenders protected by two of the best holding midfielders!
This was only an away match in a group stage. So I could make such experiments. It worked like a charm. It was match which could have been won by Sevilla too. You see, they had more shots on target, but I could score three with less shots, thanks to the quality of my players. Also look at the tackles won percentage. That’s what the two holding midfielders did for me!
The next match is against Man City at the City of Manchester stadium. Just when I’m loving it, and the fans are enjoying it, looks like some trouble is brewing between me and Roman, that too within few weeks from my appointment. More on that later!

good buys BC. i’m happy that you did not spend spend all your money on one superstar like kaka or ronnie. your buys have quality and also would sell a good number of shirts (of course roman wants it too!)

i know den but i didnt have to. 77 million is really too much given thd team i already have.

BC how did you get alves for 17million? sevilla only let me buy him for his release clause of 41.5 million, instead i bought phillip lahm who is better than alves in the game and can also play left back and richt back, i pay 19 million for him but his wage demands are huge as he wants 140,000 pw

I should thank my stars fo getting Alves at 17m. But you know, I was showing a lot of interest in signing him, went public about it, showed my admiration for him and all. Important tip: Normally, due to impatience, we might want a response from the other club by today, tomorrow or this week. I suggest you give them lots of time. They’ll think about it instead of rejecting it quickly because you gave them only two days to evaluate and decide.
By the way, I’m paying only 71k per week to Alves. In that case Alves is far far better than Lahm. These amounts are in british pounds. I hope you’re also talking in pounds!!!

i know it everything about this game, i am chelsea nd in my first season so far i have played 24 games and won 18 and drawn 6 and am on top of the league, BC here is a list of players that become stars on this game Aaron(valencia), Pato, Anderson, Banega(Becomes the best holding mid on the game by miles-Boca), Bojan(barca), Dos santos(barca), Giovinco(juventus), Guardado(deportivo), Lulinha(corinthians)-(becomes assist machine and hgoal scoring machine in the game- best CM/AM in the world), Saivet(bordeux), Ustari(getafe), Vela(becomes the best player in the game and scors from impossible places he cost me 46 mill but all owrth it, he plays for Arsenal)
In my chelsea team i have lulinha (transfers july 2008), Giovinco(transfers july 2008), Banega, Aaron(transfers 2008 july-bought him for 17.75 mill), Guardado, Hoping to get pato in the future but milan wont sell him for anything and he doesnt want a move
Need to be very careful when playing matches against poor team’s and rivals as the fans and board to not forget poor preformences.
I also would switch Malouda with Riquelme for some variation.
All in all agood solid team. Sheva is happy with being an impact pllayer as well, so I think Drogba and Huntleaar would be a great combo
