Phew! No live telecast of this match over here, not even delayed recorded telecast. Will have to wait for the Chelsea TV highlights until tomorrow to make some opinions.
Back in blue outfit in the premier league mid-week match after a couple of away cup fixtures as Chelsea host Reading in the evening kick off at Stamford Bridge.
Yes it is an AG interview, but he is neither giving the answers nor asking the questions. He is just the subject of the interview. I thought of interviewing myself about about Avram Grant and this is what I got. I’m willing to ask you all the same questions and publish the interesting ones. Ok, here we go!

The Nicolas Anelka show is what we were waiting for and that’s exactly what we got today! I’m extremely happy about the result. It’s not everytime you win despite being second best! Yes, for great periods of time, Wigan were the better team. Another goal from a lobbed pass (or whatever you want to call it!) and a counterattack goal killed the chances of superb Wigan who can hold their heads high!
We will get to see the electric yellow jersey again as Chelsea gear up for the FA Cup fourth round against Wigan. For many seasons now, the hallmark of Chelsea’s progress in any competition has been the way they brush aside smaller oppositions. While Wigan can fancy an upset against other big teams, Chelsea would just get the job done with some ease.
Here is the UEFA team of the year 2007. No black suit bias, no lobbying – all based on user votes. About 275,000 of them. There are two entries from Chelsea in the team of the year 2007 – John Terry and Didier Drogba. For clubs like Chelsea, any representation is a great recognition because the massive fan base of clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, Madrid, Barca, Milan etc normally sweep the polls with their players.
‘Clinical’ is the right word, or ‘typical’ would suit even better. Chelsea earns a well deserved place in what would the first final of this season. It was not a smooth sailing as such. Everton put up a very spirited display but in the end, that extra bit of quality in Chelsea players won the match. I would have loved to see Arsenal beaten by us in the final once again. Too bad, it has to be Spurs now!

Let’s get ready to reach the second league cup final in two years. After the Spurs completely outplayed and outclassed Arsenal for a brilliant 5-1 win, we should be wary of how different things can be in the second leg. But I don’t see Chelsea losing with a 4-goal margin even without a goalkeeper.
Only Group A and Group B have been in action so far, but both got off to a cracking start. Reports will be posted here at Blue Champions as the games continue. So, without further ado, here is what happened, and how in happened, in Ghana for the last two days.
