Merry Christmas to you all! After a short eventually-not-so-serious domestic trouble, I’m back here in the blog. I couldn’t watch the Blackburn or even the mouthwatering battles between the two Milan teams and the mighty match between Barca and Madrid. I caught up on the goals, highlights, comments from well-paid experts and your comments too.

After two demanding matches against top four teams, we have just done enough to get ourselves 3 points. Joe Cole’s goal was a brilliant one and equal credit should be given to Kalou for smelling an opportunity there. Cech’s inury is a big worry. He is gonna miss about two weeks but Cudicini should be back soon (possibly for the Newcastle match). Now we are missing the two most important players – Drogba and Cech. I’m not overly concerned about how we played and all that. With the injuries that we are suffering, the position in the table, the busy Christmas period etc will decide how we play and I’m satisfied as long as we get through this period with as less damage as possible.
