Sly..
Sorry to interrupt your intellectual and brilliance mate..

Theres as much quality in your so-called boring football if not better than beautiful football, as long as one is winning.

If one boring football can still win even at a solitary score-line against one outstanding beautiful playing team (with good looking players haha), then i would say theres much wrong and lesser quality in that 'outstanding beautiful playing team' than the boring one. Any one team can play possession and passing football over 60 mins and 200 passes. But whats the meaning of it if you cant win with that 60 mins and 200 passes? Seeing everything but silverwares...

Beautiful football done no greater truth in attracting new fans more than boring football. Winner does. Glory hunters or just plain football fans..they all have one thing in common. And thats to become a winner or part of a winning team. Thats what Chelsea brought to Asia and Africa and the rest of the world. Chelsea shows the poor and under-privileged kids, young and old; that determinations and ambitions are the essence in becoming a winner. A very humble and noble way in making million others embracing not just Chelsea but football in particular. Different race, countries but shared the same language of football.

While many would had Arse, Barca, RM and MU as sort of beautiful and successful football playing teams...they tend to forget, that those biggies had long footballing history to back them up. They made their mark and monies on that history. And they had that history to help them playing better. Listless trophies and champions etc. In due time and course, Chelsea shall be among those names..and the beauty and expensive footie will be there together as a package. Until then, winning is the only package we have in making us older and better...if not...we are left to being kids again...and we wouldnt have this chance ever..of talking again..

BC
nice and well explained. very good mate..very..very good.

Im still much in amusement as to why and whats the fuss is all big about beautiful football with Chelsea?? I meant...do we still need to choke one self just to satisfy that needless lust when we dont actually even really care as long as we had the winning Chelsea all the way.. Would we have thought what a 50 years waiting (back then) and suffering had been to get a calling of a champion by others...to suddenly propagandize the new believing of beautiful football. Do we see beautiful Arse in all 19 other teams in the league? No.. and we dont see champions in many either. Winning is what matter. I would not trade a jumping fisting cheering glory winning dance for any beautiful samba-liked smooth sailing sad smiling losing footie...especially not at the expense in the verge of winning trophy or something. We are buying too much into this beauty perspective inserts none other by some people upstairs when they themselves dont really know much about it other than watching videos of the great Zidane and Maradona. Is it a sin to embrace winning instead of entertaining? Dont we have enough of Arse to muppet and entertain us..?

If we are not winning trophies this season. And none to speak off beautiful football either...than whats left and becoming of us then? Still a Chelsea, i guess. No difference that what we had been 5 years ago, i guess. So why complaining for something less important when the big one in keeping the winning and trophies on roll were much in doubt now. And no thanks to beautiful football for giving a farewell handshakes to the one who can keep that doubt of ours rest in peace.

hi guys, I must say am glad england lost. this is because I feel those crazy liverpool fans who have been booing lamps need this to pump some sense into their stupid heads. where was their darling gerald yesterday? of course they will not boo him even he was worse than a passenger in the match. am glad cos both terry and lamps were virtually absent yesterday.

Those liverpool boo boys are the worst sort of fans i have encountered. They are so retarded that they do not know the difference betwwen club affiliation and nation. they are truly a disgrace. sane Liverpool fans must take a stand against this disgraceful lot. and pls let no one tell they are not Liverpool fans.

Success brought the new fans we now have. We need beauty in our game and that would take time. As of now we need to win everything we can to establish the club as a world force in club football.

i'm not asking you for any stats for your claims. i dont have the patience or interest to dig out the details for you. i'm not talking about he number of supporters. i'm talking about the number of new supporters in the last three seasons. you dont need statistics. if you're following premier league, you could have realised yourself.

talking about luring new fans, chelsea got maximum number of new fans over the last 3 seasons and why? how does chelsea suddenly has so many chelsea fans in asia and africa?
