BluRehman!

I'm not saying Blues would lose, what I'm saying is even if Blues lose, you have something to cheer. Man Utd lost to Southend at early stages last season and while we were slogging it out with league cup matches in Dec, Jan and Feb, they were concentrating on premier league and champions league. like that.

Folks,

I think this is actually the best time to write a comment on this Blog as all of you have commented and showed your love in different ways to the greatest club eva, this makes me a more stronger "Blue" than eva before.... As they say in times of Storms like natured animals (dont take it literally just a figure of speech, a silly metaphor) seek refuge around each other for comfort and support.....

Being actually concerened over fixture with Hull is more Reading or Burmingham than Chelsea, has it come down to this ? I wonder!! A few months back before the start of the season concerns were like the 4 thropies or maybe 3 however seeing all this boil down to such a situation is sad yet true. How did we come down to this, is it AVRAM, ROMAN, KENYON, ARNESEN or JM (no disrespect Special one), I believe all of them are to blame in my opinon as in all great power struggles the club suffers and here is a perfect example of a great club suffering due to mindless power struggle of huge egos.Im my life I have understood the fact that not all can be leaders, in a corporation, a house or a club you need to have proper hierachy alongwith people having different levels of competencies, IQ's & abilities....I would cautiously disagree to JM when he said all the "good eggs in basket" philosophy its always mix of good, above average, average, below average and bad (trust me sometimes bad is good)....You just cant have the richest, the oldest, smartest & the most dynamic in one place...its always a recipe for disaster...thats what has happened to our beloved club ...disaster struck!!! now we have a heirachy of one of the best resources while the credentials for our manager are poor for the English game soo developing a heirarchy in the middle of a bad start of a season is again a huge egoist move by a great business man..so guys even if you give a chance to AV nothings gonna happen he cannot challenge or even mutter in front of successful ppl like ROM,KEY,ARS,BUC...so guys no chance...no chance at all...I would like to give him all the chances in the world however sorry nothings happening...Managers have vision not dictation, managers are leaders not followers...

Secondly the blog saddens me by thought that the writer asumes that loosing to Hull is a blessing....Sir, I am a fan from Pakistan...where its MAN UTD, ARS or LIV...being a CFC fan is continuosly defending or fighting a war alone (very hard to find a Blue fan)...so never make comments like you had made saying the Blues would loose to Hull even for greatest intrests...

Thirdly Van Basten coming to Chelsea is sadly being denied by the club I hope this is a one sided denial to create the competition guessing, I just hope ROM makes the decision of his life time not a decision for his life...he is intelligent enough to look into this decision quickly as its not happening for us even in the future...As per above arguments...

I hope all of us Blue fans keep on praying on the change we deserve and all the wins we deserve....

Joeblue

No one was whining about the "past". The so called replacement is not up to scratch and even if Van Basten would get the job it makes no difference i have watched holland play and there is nothing attractive about their football. Keep your jose hatred to yourself.

Just one more tought:

Funny how till date no denial has been made by Van Basten himself.

Hes in charge of Holland national team and he wouldn't want any rumors to afect "his" teams.Thats is: if really he wouldnt want the job.

Probably hes now sorting things with is pal Arnesen.... :P

My guess is Arnesen isnt too happy to see Grant in charge. This probably isn't the outcome he was expecting.

Theres a power struggle inside CFC, thats for sure. Wouldn't be too surprised if Van Basten being there were Arnesen doing to rock the boat and get Grant on his way.

Seriously.Wont u rather see Capello at the helm? Its pedigree is second to none, but hes style might not be very attractive.

Would u scarify good results in competition just to see ur team playing "attractive" football? Ask Arsenal fans if they wouldn't trade.

While Arsenen stays behind Abramovich venting to him what to do I'm afraid CFC will never get the stability they need.

Hi guys,

I saw the Liverpool-Reading game yesterday..Liverpool's stregth n depth is amazing..Seriously liverpool has the strongest squad in england now..If rafa can channel his resources well n avoid too much tinkering, they will win the EPL this season..

Arsenal is playing fantastic football at the moment, but they are also playing their best possible team..a couple of injuries to key players like Fabregas, adebayor, van persie, Hleb, Rosicky etc could hurt them a lot..they have brillaint youngsters in their ranks, but they might not be able to deliver the goods at this level week in week out

United are just about getting into the groove as well..they have won their last 5 or 6 games in all competitions now..they are embarking on a decent run..their defence is looking solid n unbreakable at the moment.teams will find it tough to beat them

what about our present situation..

11 points from 7 games in the Epl..Arsenal, united n Liverpool are ahead of us..n Liverpool n arsenal have a game in hand..Arsenal has 16 points now n if they win the game in hand..19 points..thats 8 points ahead of us..a good lead already...

UCL..we are away to valencia next i guess..thats a pretty tough game coming at the wrong time for us..maybe we could still recover n progress from the group bcos we are a good team..

FA cup wont start till much later..so maybe our team will have settled by then under grant(playing BEATIFUL)..hopefully we could do well there

Carling Cup..we have a relatively easy match as compared to our other main rivals..we should win today n hope for a good draw for the next round as well..that will allow the team n grant some time to settle down n focus..then maybe grant can deliver the BEAUTIFUL football hes promised

I would like to see a 4-4-2 today

---------------Cudicini----------------

Beletti----Alex-----Terry------Ashley---

Joe-------Sidwell------Essien-------Malouda

-------------Sheva--------Kalou--------------

Subs:-Cech, Ferrira, Shaun, Pizzaro,Makalele

Beautiful or Ugly..please win..dont lose n embaress the club any further

N if Van Basten is really coming..great..atleast all of us know who he is:)..he was a fantastic player..hopefully he can a great manager for us...
