He used to skill very good until he came to Chelsea when Jose said “cut the fancy stuff out.”

And have you ever heard of the word practicing. How do you think Ronaldiniho became the skill king, how do you think Ronaldo became known as the “diver”, and how do you think Petr Czech became a world-class goalkeeper.

All to do with “practice”.

So if Joe Cole practices skilling in his matches he would get better and better and better.

I strongly believe all this demand for flair n stuff has upset the team structure and weakened our defence.Makalele was used very effectively in Mourinho’s 1st 2 seasons.He was the perfect Holding Midfielder.Mikel n Essien are great players, but not great holding midfielders.

If Jose wants Chelsea to play with more flair, its good.It would be really wonderful if chelsea could play like Arsenal or Barcelona.

But it shouldnt be done by sacrificing the team’s greatest strength which was our solid defence.We have the best defensive record in the EPL over the last 3 seasons.Least no. of goals conceded, Maximum Clean sheets,Least no. of games lost.Teams playing gainst Chelsea felt it was tough to score against us.The psychological fear was there.

Then last year with all our goalkeeper n defence injuries, we started losing that strength n aura of invincibility in defence.Teams started attacking us more feeling they could get a goal.The same thing has continued this season.No team is sitting back aginst us.All the teams are attacking us knowing we arent that solid in defense as before.

Our back line & GK have reamined the same over the last 4 years(xpect Gallas for Cole).The team’s startegy n structure are being changed by Jose.Of course the defence hasnt really touched top form as yet.They can do their bit to improve as well.

So let Jose n chelsea try to be more expansive n play more beautiful football.That would really be wonderful.But they shouldnt sacrifice on defence.
Its common sense that YOU CANT LOSE IF YOU DONT CONCEDE GOALS.We are more than capable of scoring atleast 1 goal a game to ensure that we WIN.

Villa was just one of those days.It has happened in the past.It can happen again.

Cmon Chelsea..33 more games to go..a minimum of 80 more points to get to have any chance of winning the EPL..We can Do it

The rest can just get beat and make this excuse???? Thats shameful , we shld do better than we did last time out!!!! and not only agnst Aston Villa , we hav strted this season so badly , we hav conceded goals which most Jose lovers lov to put up as their main point, where is the defence???? Even the scousers hav lost Carragher and Gerrard , but wen was the last time Chelsea even at full strength hit any team for six , except for our specality the mickey mouse cup that is , a tournament in which even the lousiest sides score 5!!!!!

Enugh excuses , open ur eyes and see the truth , Jose has to turn around not only the results but the team as well , we hav to show we r title contenders , these points we r dropping , remember last season wen many jokers incld the marshall here BC , said we r only drawing SOME matches , and those were the points making us loose the title , idont want a repeat , Manu r visible on the horizon at OT , time to pull up our soks and be ready!!!!
