First of all i’m really happy to here that Kenyon and Roman trust this more than great coach Jose Mourinho, really he deserve it and more.
ad i wanna to say for benitiz,, Mourinho AND Roman built the True Blues and not just Roman’s money…!
now Liverpool you got the money also,, and Mourinho will learn you that the money is not everything,, and he will win at the Anfield Road.

This is a perfect example how a club’s pedigree, or ‘history’ as they call it, plays an important role in attracting talent, new or experienced. Chelsea must work on this aspect as well and new training facilities are a step forward in this direction. It also helps in making sensible bids rather than paying silly money. And also players don’t come for money only and then holding club to ransom, Terry’s, Lamp’s and Robben’s being the latest cases.

Having been a lifelong chelsea blue, supporting the club for over 30 years, now that I have seen in my lifetime league title wins amongst other major trophies, other than winning the champions league, I honestly wouldn’t be bothered if we didn’t win another trophy again. I am content enough, unlike some of these manacunians or scousers who are nothing but glory hunters and want to everything every year. Sad bastards.

My only other dream would be to see the blues win a league title and or other major trophy with a squad of 60-70% of homegrown players. This would invoke glory days of the osgood/hudson era.

Don’t get me wrong…if we are in with a chance of winning a major trophy(ies) towards the end of the season of course I would always hope that we do but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if we don’t. I think we’ve proved our point in those back to back title wins, and also I am immensely proud of some of the english records we have broken, i.e. most points in a season, least goals conceded etc. To have broken some of the all time records, yeah that gives me goosebumps.

So long as chelsea gives its all, I pretty much don’t give a toss. We blues should be proud of what our club has achieved, mega bucks or no mega bucks

is Alex slow or does he just look slow? I’d be much more worried about his sense of positioning ( which think is quite good). Terry is not so fast either but if this guy played at the copa america and survived Messi, he should playa great part this season.

Alex is a strength player. I don’t know if he can adapt before the season is starting but his present at the club will upbeat for defenders place challenge.
