I believe in attack Bridge is far better a player than Ashley, especially on the delivery of his crosses. So many goals / chances came from Bridge being involved in lead-up play through crosses or inside passes. However, Ashley has a slight advantage over Bridge, I believe, in defensive terms. Bridge still is a very competent defender, yet I think if this position was picked on the players defensive ability it would go to Ashley.

However, on the whole, Bridge showed what a quality left back he is and I believe that he had a better season last year. Lets hope he gets a few more games under his belt this term, eh?

gotta agree LDN bridge is in it for the football, i think cole has the abbility but lacks the apssion…his heads up his mrs arse along with his visa card haha!

hey the guy has been a rock for us and u cant say he’s let us down! the FA cup only came to blue last year due to his immense performance of keep Cristiano Ronaldo on his feet!
credit where its due….but long term i must say he could have been a little more consistant!

I have been stating this all last season I think Bridge is a much better player and has more ability with the ball than the Ashley Cole, I think Bridge has more heart playing in the chelsea team then Cole and we seemed to be playing alot better whenever JM put him on that wing. I think Bridge first then Cole…. What do U think??

Raging Bull i think sinclair deserves a shot but when you think on the grander scale i think the season ahead will be the making or breaking of mourinho’s Chelsea. i Mean he must deliever the Champs League to kep his job (i think thats a plot Kenyon and Abramovic have despite the fans oppinion and what else is delivered) so sinclair would be out there but also with JM batteling AF over who has spent the most, JM wont be taking chances if other players are on form…. we will see him tho i hope! great young talent! be nice to see him become great b4 he’s thrown to the israilli army!!!!!

i think now malouda has arrived Robben will be over shadowed but is still one of the best left winger’s in the world if he leaves it will be a sad day for the true blue army !!!

Please chelsea sign alves, pato,drentre plus alex and also keep Robben because that man is just a wing wizzard man u suck and liverpool are just spending anything to keep up Rafa is frat Potato who should rot in hell also I think Chelsea should sell ballack and bring in someone like a Kaka because Ballack is so slow and i think Lampard dosent like him. I think ur right about GJ coming back from loan, perfect example of that would be Bridgey who was with Fulham for 6 months and now he’s every bit as good as Ash Cole, (I think he was as good as b4 going on loan) and Neville is a MANURE BECKS LOVING TOSSER!!! – LOL

I realy hope Sheva will be back to his best this season and dont see y he wont, wud have him over Torres any day!

Do ya think Scotty Sinclair will gt a sniff this season, I see he has went to the States for Pre season, mut be over the injury, gd luck to him, class prospect for us.

Cant wait til Sat nite 1st game of the tour, get the Beers in!!
