Quite a decent win. After a poor first half, Chelsea picked up momentum in the second half and Didier Drogba was there to clean up Brondby. More than anything, at the end of the pre-season friendlies, key players stayed away from injuries as much as possible.

We’ve been discussing quite heatedly about Jose Mourinho and Chelsea’s playing style under him. So, I thought I’ll tell you what I feel. Jose has been getting a lot of criticism from various quarters for various reasons. I’d like to analyze to see if he really deserves this amount of criticism. Remember, he’s a darling of a great percentage of Chelsea fans that his name is sung everytime we play at Stamford Bridge. A lot of his players, rivals and competitors have great respect for him and hold him in very high regard. But still he seems to have this incredible love-hate relationship with the press, fans, rivals and sometimes even with his players!

Rangers 2 – 0 Chelsea: End Of The World!

First defeat of the season. Luckily for me, the internet stream was so screwed up that I ended up playing Winning Eleven with my mate, after the first half. No one likes to lose but I’m not stupid to get worried for a defeat in a friendly match. With what little I saw and what the various reports say, it was a very exciting match with opportunities for both the teams but they scored twice in the last 4 minutes, when Tal erred (?) and Hilario was on goal.

Terry Until 2012 | Real On Ballack | Rangers Friendly
