Arsenil vs. Chelsea: 06-May-2007 @ 16:00 UK
Very short post today. I’m still tied up with my house shifting commitments. There’s nothing much I’d like to say except that it could be 1-2.
Normalcy ’should’ be restored in another 4-5 days. As promised I’ve given you the blogspace to discuss. Its all yours.
P.S: I’m blogging from my mobile.

Liar,
I’m sorry that you have met here people who are more intelligent than you.
Your posts are childish and you are repeating same things over and over. I prove that you are wrong but in the next post you write the same thing again.
1. Kaka scored 10 goals in the CL while Lampard scored only 1. Kaka scored 5 in the group stage, so in the mid-season he was already better than Lampard.
2. There was no month this year when Kaka was worse than Lampard.
2. Even if there was such a month it was not March and April when Kaka played superb against Celtic and Bayern Munich and Lampard was average against Porto and Valencia. Yet you said that Lampard was better than Kaka in the mid April during quarter finals. You can check it.
3. Only after 2 weeks you change your mind and admit that Kaka is better than Lampard. Kaka’s game against Bayern and Celtic was as good as against United with the difference that he scored more goals against United. So in a period of half a month Kaka’s game remained on the same high level whereas Lampard was anonymous.
4. Whatever Kaka says we watch his games. He could say that because of modesty.
5. Lampard has never been better than Kaka in Europe this year, so only God knows how you dare to compare them.
6. You are not good at making up excuses.
7. You are a liar.
8. Your IQ level is low.
9. Next time before writing response to someone say to yourself “Hold on mate, he might be smarter than me, I don’t want to be ashamed again.â€
10. The end.

abdullah,
I admire the optimism but I fear Untied may have sewn things today. A four game winning streak would be nice and some silverware it better than none.

Well remember it’s all a Football Hollywood .
And I’d love to see us winning tonight at least.

We’re losing…..red card to Boulahrouz……

great performance in the end, really interesting season for both us and the league, it’s just a shame about Kalou’s miss at the end.
aw i’m so proud of them

The Premiership is lost, congratulations to manchester united. We have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, as like Mourinho said after the game “Hold your heads up high” We came close to making history, but i guess u dont get everything ur way all the time. We have came second to a team that was overall better than us throughout the season, and its a fact to admit. Still, we could go on and on about all the factors that lead to us coming in second like injuries, fixtures, referees, schedules, suspensions, etc. But we don’t need to make up any excuses because we don’t need any, coming second as so close to first with everything we have faced alone is considered an accomplishment. The only thing that really pissed me off during this game was boulahrouz, i mean im not gonna even say anything other than he should be sent off on loan, sold, anything, just get rid of him. Sinclair showed some potential, as i look forward to see him play in a few seasons. Overall, this was a tight season, very impressive considering chelsea’s dim history, and the best is hopefully yet to come. Hey, theres still the Fa Cup which i just consider a consolation prize to our season but we should get it nonetheless, seeing its against manchester united. Next season the whole world better watch out cuz Chelsea is gonna be on Fire. Blue4lyfe.

Losing 7 points when Cech and Carlo were out is what killed us for the Prem as well as a couple of other times we blew our chances to close the gap. I just want Chelsea to play with pride and win the remaining games. An FA cup victory could take away much of the pain of this season.
In 2005, Man U formed a gaurd of honor welcoming Chelsea as Champions in Old Trafford. Saturday, it is their turn to receive the honor at the Bridge. So be it.
12. Fwembt
Looked so very tried today. SWP and Cole provided some much needed pace but Lamps and, for the first time, Essien looked weary out there. An FA Cup win would be nice. More rest and a guard of honour are called for at the Bridge. Perhaps next year will be ours again.

Actually, It was clear to me that Manchester is gonna champion even before this game. but chelsea played very well specially last minutes. I hope mourinho gives Sahar,Siclair ,Cudicini Diarra chance to play next game.
and I don’t know maybe it is too soon to say this, but I think Khalid is not good enought to play for a club like chelsea. Alex will come to chelsea next season, I have no idea about him but I think we need a good CD.
14. Adonis
Like always, win or lose, we played with heart and pride. It seems that fire was really the only thing we had the whole year (other than the last game at Anfield) and it’s the reason we did reasonably well concerning the run of injuries and lack of ability to have our best team on the field for more than two games in a row. It’s a shame that we fumbled the ball so late in the season, but it just wasn’t to be. Still we’re proud, we’re entertained, and we’re cetainly looking forward to the future.
Blue for life, indeed.

After the game, there happens to be an emotional moment when JM hugs Lamps & JT. We could see some watery eyes in their faces…but anyway, the CFC crowd were excellent. thanks to all CFC fans at the stadium & here in the blog for all your support through this season. I’m looking forward for the start of our next season, because of the African Cup some players will be missing. will CFC buy new players? bring in the youngsters? bring back the loaned players? or what else??…whatever happens, we’ve got to prepare for that…until next time, cheers — blue for life!!! —
16. Manish
Guys I was really happy with team’s performance yesterday….we really were all over them and that too with one man down…but u see Ballack’s absence was a blessing in disguise….in his absence our midfield was fast and more creative…
Essien was without doubt MoM….if we continue to play in same way FA cup is ours…once again Boularhouz proved to be costly….everytime he makes a mistake it costs us dearly…
Guys I just read somewhere that Sheva-Eto swap with Barca is on cards…it is true….and whats more on transfer front…please update….

In a way it’s a relief that this premiership season is effectively over.
But we gave everybody a run for their money and pressed Man U to the near end.( I’m not calling them ManUre today )
We have lost the premiership yes,
But we have gained character,a never-say-die attitude , blooded a bunch of youngsters ,and survived horrendous and near-death injuries in the squad.
Well done ! Really proud of you, guys at CFC

Guys, what a season its been,
Go Chelsea, Go Blues.. True Blue for Life..
Lets see the causes for this season’s Debacle(!!!!) as some people would call it, for a season comprising of
2nd place in EPL
Semis in Champions League(Who knows we might beat Manure IF we play for the 3rd place)
FA cup Final(Fingers Crossed here)
Carling cup Winner
Its not a debacle.. its a victory, look at the following list and add more, I know I am blinded by my love for the team
Look at the scribes and the so called “unbiased” reporters, they are giving rave reviews about the grit and determination about our team and its players.. we knew this all along, and we stood by the team unflinchingly and we will, always, True Blue forever..
1)Injury to Cech
2)Injury to John Terry
3)Roman-JM cold war
4)Bolton Draw—-> what went wrong here?!! I see this as the cause for our loss of the premiership
5)only one CB(Ricardo)
6)Robben injuries… aaarrrgggggggggh
7)Joe Cole’s injury and effect on Drogba playing every game
8)Sheva’s POOR poor performance(cant say its form because he hasnt performed here)
9)Ballack– a little late, albeit he is becoming a True Blue.
10)Makelele’s poor form
11)Frank Lampard dismal performance inspite of the 20 odd goals he has scored this season, he just was unable to lift the team spirit, the agonising mispasses, loss of possession, when he gets the ball, I am scared!!, I used to be so confident, that he will roll the ball and test the goal keeper, like he did in yesterday’s game!
12)Jose’s general attitude, he needs to cut it out a little, not be so brash, classy is good
talking fron the heart is great, but lets not hit below the belt, Please Jose, we all are your fans and we will be always.
The pric* that Arsene is he is saying the best team won..he is a worthless piece of shit, borrowed form another site —–>”Jose Mourinho remains unbeaten in seven games against Arsene Wenger”
one more beauty—>”A problem that has stalked Chelsea all season has been the ceaseless conjecture over the future of the ‘Special One’. When chief executive Peter Kenyon confirmed two weeks ago that, contrary to reports, the manager would not be sacked, the announcement was perceived as a slap in the face for journalists: Chelsea 1, Press 0. Not so fast, though - for months the club did nothing to dispel the rumours conclusively, and never was the atmosphere more counter-productive to the team than during the dark days of January.”
Look at the teams we lost to and the games we drew, take solace in the

Haha, near death. How true! I never heard it put that way but it’s true. I’m glad we didn’t have Cech or Terry in comas or anything during this season. I’m happy about this season as a whole. It’s the stuff of a champion, really… Even losing, we lose with dignity, fighting hard, and ready to counter next year.

hey chk out this stuff i found….
LONDON, May 6, 2007 (AFP) - English Premier League bosses are set to investigate an “arrangement” between Manchester United and Everton which left goalkeeper Tim Howard on the sidelines for their clash at Goodison Park.
League leaders United came back from a two-goal deficit to win last week’s match 4-2, thus stretching their lead over reigning champions Chelsea and boosting their bid for the league title.
Howard, whom United sold to Everton in February after an initial loan deal, did not play in the match and it was later revealed by the Merseyside outfit that an “arrangement” had been made between the clubs to that effect.
According to reports in the Mail on Sunday and the News of the World Premier League bosses have indicated that if ‘third party interference’ is proven both clubs could be sanctioned, possibly with points deductions or fines.
Premier League spokesman Dan Johnson said: “We will be contacting both clubs as a matter of urgency to find out what has gone on.
“As Howard’s is a permanent transfer there is no reason why he could not have played against Manchester United.
“Had such a clause been included in the transfer we would not have allowed it - it would have been a clear case of third party interference.
“We certainly have no record of an agreement between Everton and United that Howard could not play on April 28.”
Earlier this week, Everton spokesman Ian Ross said that as a condition of making the loan deal permanent in February, United had demanded Howard did not play on April 28.
Ross said Everton had no choice, otherwise United would have kept the transfer as a loan deal until the end of the season, and manager David Moyes wanted to sign Howard up before he faced competition from rivals.

nyway..i dun think nything wil happen…an i guess we should be proud of our fight to the end in the league..cheers
23. varun
as for the transfers..i think its time for khalid an paulo to leave..an alex, tevez and probably quaresma to come in..
24. Manish
Ballack must also leave….
25. ballack sucks
ballack sucks…dump him out
26. danski blue!
devastated about season, we were full of such promise shame about last few weeks but hey will make next season all the more exciting!!!
get ballack paulo and sheva out and get CRESPO BACK!!!!!!!
27. cap123
i think getting rid of sheva and ballack so quick would be silly, imagine what kind of season this would be if we’d done the same for drogba back then.
28. Fwembt
Good point cap123. If we had unloaded Drgoba after he struggled and he had broken out like this for some other team, people would be furious. The EPL is the best league in the world at this moment, it may take a year for certain players to adjust.
29. Manish
Sheva can be given another chance but not Ballack….also we don’t need Crespo…
we need a striker who can create chances for Drogba…another Drogba like player will do no good.
30. joeblue
Crespo and Drogba similar???? Hav u ever seen Crespo ,Manish???? I really doubt it , Crespo is the foil Drog needs and they were excellent last season when they played togeather, looks like u dint even watch football last season!!!!
And again u hav given another one of ur stupid comments fwembt ,just copy what some other duffer starts here it is in bold for people like u…… DROGBA WAS 25 WHEN HE CAME TO CFC BALLACK AND SHEVA R 31 ALREADY HOW CAN ANYONE DREAM OF COMPARING THEM???????
31. Manish
Joeblue, I did watch football but to tell you one don’t need to see but play and understand football…I again say both are same more or less….both lack skills and can’t split open defence….did u ever see one-two between them…..y did ManU score so many goals…just because their strikers, like midfield, are able to pass ball among themselves and hence they don’t need to force open the defenders….they could score 4 goals in second half against Everton and 2 of them were results of sheer passing….Drog is a brute force player while Crespo is more of a poacher…they both can’t create chances, and then already having not-so-creative midfield I don’t think team can do much havng both Crespo and Drogba upfront.
32. Fwembt
Sheva and Drogba aren’t similar in age, no. Sheva, however, was a stand out player in Europe for years before coming to the UK. Do you really think he suddenly lost the skill that made him so good? No, he just needs an adjustment period. He was doubly hampered by the fact this was a World Cup year. Rooney cited that as a problem when got off to such a poor start. Couple that with the fact that English football is considerably different than its continental counterpart and you have a logical reason for the time it took Sheva to adjust. If he is still so poor next year then you can begin to look at age being a factor.
Manish is also correct in that we need a creative player to pair with Drogba. Crespo is very good, no doubt, but people like joeblue who constantly whine about a lack of creativity will not be pleased to see both Drogba and Crespo standing about waiting for someone else to manufacture a chance for them.
33. danski blue!
sheva was and stil is a waste of money i think in todays current climate shev is lacking in pace, touch and flair, the guy has got the vision its clear by his positioning but his fitness and drive are what is holding him back, all season i have sat and screamed at the TV saying PASS YOU GREEDY FU***R!!!! if only it was as simple as it is on my playstation lol.
next season we will be better next season we will be stronger next season we will reap our rewards for the effort and determination we have poured into this team! We are Chelsea we Are Blue we will show Manure how to be champions!
34. boruff_blue
im afraid joeblue & danski blue! comments were right.
i just wanna know here, who will cfc need for the start of next season as a bunch of african players will be out for a month in the African Cup.
This is not the important game i was looking forward too as much as before. After united beat city 1-0 with city mising a penalty i kinda accepted the fact that the title is far beyond our reach, however if we win our remaining 3 games, and west ham do us the favor of the world by beating united at Old Trafford, I would be the happiest man in the world. West ham have actually started to impress me in their efforts to avoid relegation, and after united crappy performance today, i wouldn’t be surprised if the title leaves their grasp, however we have to be right on their backs and just win every single game. Now i am looking for a decent performance against arsenal and i expect both j cole and robben to play at the same time as they will cause a lot of trouble to arsenal’s defence. If we win the remaining four games of the season including the Fa Cup final, i would be satisfied as there is the chance of united slipping up just one more time, even though the chances of that happening id 0.1%, we still need to beleive in that chance. Lets hope we win the remaining four games of the season, get the Fa Cup, and win or get as close as we can to winning the premiership and hope that next season, it will be more succesful than the previous. Go Chelsea……Blue4lyfe.
