what a good game at valencia. i knew we would win but almost got shaky after the goal. Great team re-arrangement at second-half and JM is just technically and tactically gifter. why does the press not leave mourhino and abrahamovic relationship alone. i can imagine they are waiting for the summer to come and reel us with so much speculations of irreparable differences. we may need to be proactive one way or the other (if there is something one can do). i just imagine chelsea with JM….he only can build the dynasty we want at chelsea. Up chelsea mates.

i am reaaaaally looking 4ward to this game. I agree with BC’s selection of starters as i beleive that for once please im actually begging you, ballack and sheva, SCORE!!!!! They used to score goals like candy in their previous clubs and even though they dont score as much in chelsea any goal they score today would be very crucial. Drogba should not be wasteful of the opportuniites he will be preented with as he should try his best to score or set up others. SWP is not very experienced in a large competition like the champs league but because of shortage of players due to injury his precense and speed will be most crucial. Hope chelsea score the first goal so that the pressure will be on valencia, if we keep the pressure and make it 2-0 we can say that it is game over. Good luck Chelsea! Blue4lyfe

Some thoughts from me .
Moriente’s record against English teams in England was horrible.
I think Valencia are gonna be more catious than Barca at their home ground.
I think JT will use the long ball at them in the opening 30 minutes.
I think Mikel should play.
I think we don’t have much lose so we can go all-out at them.We have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
I hope Ashley and Diarra bomb them from the back with balls into the centre.
Remember Lamps lovely chip into the Barca goal.
I’m expecting goals to come from unexpected sources and in unusual ways.
All Valencia have is the counterattack.
Even if we go 1 goal down in the first half it really doesn’t mean anything that much to us .
But if they go 1 goal down or its 1-2 at 60 minutes they can kiss this competition goodbye.
Joe Cole should unlock their defence.

I believe Morientes is a dangerous player, no matter he plays with out shoulder or head :). I agree with BC on 11 players. I hope SWP plays well. if he plays the way he played against Tottenham , we won’t score.
I think we can not score an early goal. it is sort of impossible in Spain.

morientes is a real worry. he is more dangerous than villa. i hope he doesn’t start or doesn’t play at all. but morientes has struggled against premiership opponents when he was playing for liverpool and i think he will struggle against us too. but you never know, these kind of players sometime have their days. that way we are sooo much more dangerous to have drogba and sheva in our attack. i would never swap drogba/sheva for villa/morientes. i think valencia would be scared too.
