Some mid-week news (Eng 0-1 Spain goal video inside)

Another brilliant strike by Super Scott!
Chelsea has agreed to extend Sinclair’s loan stay with Plymouth for another month. Now Sinclair would be with Plymouth until mid-March by which time, he would have played another 9 matches. After scoring that blinder of a goal, he scored another top class goal, which probably prompted Plymouth to extend his loan.

In injury news (now synonymous for team news), Wayne Bridge has pulled out of the England team due to a thigh injury and not sure when he would again be available. It does sound like it a very minor one and he could be back for this weekend. Obi Mikel is also thigh-injured and he would be aout for 2 weeks, which means he would miss a couple of games for sure.
Jose has allowed Terry to play for England, though not for 90 mins:
I have an open communication with Steve McClaren and we have spoken a lot, so he knows he is ready. He knows he needs special care in terms of therapy and he is not ready for 90 minutes, that is for sure. But that is only because of his physical condition so he can still start with JT and then decide to take him off. I am certainly happy for him to be involved because I want to see England do well.
England faces Spain in a friendly on Wednesday night. The contribution of Chelsea to the England team is such that the injury situation of Chelsea has a direct impact on England’s fortune. The two first team left backs of England – Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge are not available. Key player Joe Cole is unavailable till April. Captain John Terry can play only a short period of time.
Elsewhere, Rafa Benitez calls Everton a small club and reconfirms what he said. Everton fans, coach, Board and also the fans of many other clubs have condemnded Rafa’s choice of words. After this issue, there have been too many discussions on what makes a club big – if it is only history Everton is certainly not a small club and if it is not history, Liverpool has not won the league for about 15 years now – too long a period for a big club to not win the league. May be the talks of the take over and the rumoured transfer budget of 100 – 150 million pounds made him feel every other club smaller than Liverpool.
The winning of the World Cup was only a temporary respite in the seemingly ugly world of Italian football. When there were match fixing controversies in the Serie A, some people who think Serie A is the best football league, did say “what’s the big deal about fixing? nobody died!”. Now someone has died. Though a late reaction, it was quite a proper decision by their authorities to shut down football indefinitely. They have also said that those stadiums that do not meet the security requirements, will have to stage the matches without any fans. The news is that only 4 stadiums in Italy meet these security requirements. Interesting times ahead!
Home match coming up this weekend against Boro. We have a score to settle with them for this season!
Update
England 0-1 Spain (Iniesta ’63)

I’m confident that Bridge will return in time to play Middlesbrough this weekend. Mikel’s injury isn’t too much of a worry, seeing as Makelele and Diarra can always go in the centre of midfield alongside Lampard and Ballack.
All our games until the end of March are winnable. Let’s go out and do it.
sinclair seems to be a very very good player. looks like sinclair is really a better player than walcott. any one fancying sinclair playing in Euro 2008?
I dont think Rafa was wrong per se. in all respects everton is a smaller club than liverpool. why all the fuss?
italian league is slowly losing all the respect. probably some more good players would now be willing to get out of this stinking league. we should have our chequebook ready.
Well guys as I said yesterday Paulo could fill in for LB, and he did come in as left back for Portugal and played OK there. So this week with Boro we should not feel the effects of not having both our LB’s out that much.
Well as the Serie A is going down the drain, Sheva need not think of going back but work his balls off and become a true Blue now . CFC might even get KaKa to come over in summer.
Let’s pray that Charlton do something against Manure this weekend too. Doesn’t anyone know any black magic , voodoo, witchcraft spells to cast over them ? LOL LOL .
Charlton we need the favour ! And you’d be getting points for your survival too. Whack Manure with a double whammy that benefits both of us.
Well at least play Manure like men ,unlike Spineless Spurs.
Well Van der Saar is out for a week or so,Rooney has a small injury problem , Sahar doesn’t look that sharp, Manure’s back line is not that infallible and giving away lots of yellows. Get at them Charlton!
For us everyone’s better and cept for the 2 LB’s we’re nearly at full strength.
Keep the faith
goodness me . . england loses again even at home!!! such a shame!!
The national team is cursed I say.
Anyways, Go CFC.
well it happens sometimes guys……but overall england is a gr8 team guys……it has many gr8 players like one of our own lampard….they’ll rise up just wait n watch
i think its about time mcclaren deciedes on whether to put lampard or gerrard in the midfieild.Even though i absolutely love lampard but i would rather see gerrard play against israel. If he fails, mcclaren can always go back to lampard.
Hey guys how about this team
Cudicini /Cech
A Cole Boularouz Terry W Bridge
J Cole Ballack Robben
Shevchenko Lamps Drogs
Except for the front three , alll ……………….. don’t need to go on about that
Also add on Ricardo’s and our bad luck ,for him to have a fever on the day we played Liverpool and u can see we are in a pretty good position to be where we are.
So it must be the genius , drive and spirit of Jose Mourinho who is holding everything together.
Long Live Jose ……. And a cracking 3-0 win tommorow
But then,a hard fought spirited 1-0 would do just as well for me ..
Don’t have to be shame.. it’s a good goal by spain
Will chelsea retain the second position or pushed further behind ??
Chelsea will not be able to retain its second position.
Chelsea will move up to No.1
Right ! mate Up to NO.1
BC have u go a lot work at the B?
A cold or something ?
A bit quiet .
Uncharacteristic of u
I have a report that automatically generates in HTML format. I usually tweak this report myself by adding a few lines of HTML in specific places and writing whatever needs to be written in those lines. I need a way to automate this process so that other people can do it with minimal to no knowledge of HTML..
I am in the process of starting my own company (private limited by shares)and was wondering if it made any difference to pay for the website from my Business bank account, or from my personnal bank account ?.
