Bolton 0-1 Chelsea: Just another 3 points!

He just let his football do the talking!
I just hate missing the Chelsea matches, even if they are against some Tiny FC, leave alone the big ones like this. Yes. I couldn’t see this game. Of all reasons, this match was not televised in my part of the globe. I was ‘reading’ the match live in the BBC and Sky Sports live update, which was quite a funny way of following a match.
Anyway, we maintain the gap with same 3 points despite some difficult matches over the last week. Jose had stuck to his flagship team, I should say, without making any radical changes. He persisted with Ballack and it was certainly rewarded. Overall, it appears that we have won very comfortably despite what this thin margin says. Sam Allardyce, after the Arsenal match, started seriously believing that they can beat us. Sorry, we are not Arsenal, we shoot, we score.
Amidst all the rumours regarding Sheva’s return to Milan on loan, it was good to hear Sheva saying that he is 100% committed with Chelsea. With Galliani also denying such rumours, let’s please put this to bed for now.
Once again, Jose firmly behind his man, the best striker in Europe:
To be honest, I do not care about goals, I judge players on other items. He knows the way I think about football, I will support him the maximum I can. I am told Thierry Henry scored one goal in 12 matches when he moved to Arsenal from Juventus. It’s not easy to adapt, Italian football is different to English football even though we play the same system as Milan. Shevchenko is making a clear improvement, he is very alive on the field

Now we get to December. Our matches this month are Arsenal (H), Newcastle (H), Everton (A), Wigan (A), Reading (H) and Fulham (H). Whereas compare the fixtures of Man Utd this month - Middlesbrough (A), Man City (H), West Ham (A), Aston Villa (A), Wigan (H) and Reading (H).
While I don’t see us dropping any points in December, if West Ham can do us a favour this season, we’ll be on par with Man Utd by Christmas. I want Tevez to devastate the United defence. Watch out for that match.
When Jose said that it won’t take too much time before Chelsea leads the table, these words must have started worrying the Red Devils’ camp. Over the last fortnight, Jose has started sounding more and more confident and indirectly putting a lot of pressure on Sir Alex and Man Utd.
I should give credit to Man Utd in the way they handle this pressure and churn superb performances week in week out. But as we all know, let’s see what plans Sir Alex has when the players become unavailable for various reasons.
What a boring weekend again, no club football!

i always thought ballack will take lesser tim than sheva in getting used to the league and our style of play. if i have to judge the performances so far of sheva and ballack, the better and more useful player has been ballack (i thought so even before his bolton goal)
now, lets not talk about how drogba is scoring because sheva is there. drogba is scoring because we employ 442 and not because his co-striker is sheva. even if he had kalou as his strike partner, he’d have done well.

i also didnt see this match. i hate when they dont show the premiership matches. good we won.

sheva is performing poorly. but he should not go. we should persist with him. when gets going, that’ll be spectacular. go sheva go!
Jose is a winner. I dont think he would allow Sheva to leave now as it might prove to be a defeat for himself. I’m sure he’ll get the best out of Sheva and by the time we reach the quarterfinals of champions league, he should be in excellent nick. Till that time, we have enough quality to win even without Sheva firing.

Sheva should stay but warm the bench as a sub he must know that witout good performances one cannot be part of the starting 11.when he starts to come good as a sub he should get back in the regular 11.this will ease the pressure on him and he can as well regain his form!!!!

I hope we win the Levski game by a huge margin cuz we have to top the group so that our R2 opponents in the champs league will be easy (either Lille orathens) this would be a cakewalk to R3!!!!!

BREAKING NEWS - Man U have signed Larsson on loan for 3 months.
I think this can turn out to be the master stroke. Even if this doesn’t, Man U have nothing to loose.
Sid - Thats more of a back up signing than a first team signing. Fergie is scared of losing any of his forwards to injury, so he has created a back up. I won\’t be surprised if Larsson gets only very few matches to play in his 3 month loan tenure.

So nobody saw Sheva’s shot from 25 yards that was brilliantly saved by the ‘keeper which went for the corner that led to Ballacks goal?
Sheva picked up the ball just inside the Bolton half - turned two defenders and hit a beauty!!! COME ON SHEVA
Boring weekend… yep your right BC LOL LOL

Sheva can shoot as much as he wants and no one will notice unless he starts putting those shots in the net !!! Anyways this Larsson signing can turn out to be great , Larsson is an impact player he is a super sub and can come of the bench and cause havoc(remember last season champs lg. final) lets hope he looses his fitness which has always been a problem for him!!

The important thing for Chelsea now is not to loose steam and sign a great forward in the Jan window cuz Sheva aint the man and depending on Drogba can be hazardous for the title i hope Jose gets hold of the prodigios Dutch forward KLASS JAN VAN HUNTELAAR!!!!!!

Why people talk only about Sheva and Drogba as Chelsea’s only strikers? We have Kalou as well. He is really gifted, has terrific ball skills and we are yet to use him as a striker for 90 minutes. We should give him the chance.

And yes, I would love to see this wonderkid (23 years!) Huntelaar in Chelsea colours, but how much does he cost, any idea? But I’m sure, for Ajax there should be a lot future plans around Huntelaar.

hope sheva can return to his former form… that is when chelsea we become unbeatable..
16. Lady Ballack

Well the Huntelaar deal might be troublesome because of the interest shown by Fergie in him , but Ajax might get tempted by the money , of course we all know the outrageous amounts Fergie can pay to get some players in……..but the whole deal depends on Jose , how much is he interested in landing Huntelaar ? The deal might go upto more than 20mn pounds i hope we dont loose him to Manu i wont be able to take it !!!!
19. joeblue
Ajax would be more intersested in the money which might go upto more than 20 mn pounds and we can expect heavy competition from Fergie always ready to pay outrageous amounts for young talent …..but lets hope Jose is interested in this deal and blows away any competition on the way!!!!!

i love you very much you are the best player
very true. westham vs manu will be the most crucial fixture of the month. i dont think chelsea vs arsenal will be too much of a fight going by their current form.
