Should be good enough!

While every other young keeper in Europe is getting a trial in Chelsea, we have both Cudicini and Hilario fit and with match practice (Villa didn’t give Carlo enough practice though!). For good order sake, Carlo could get a run. Cech had come to the Bridge to watch the Carling Cup game against Villa. His friends have treated him with exquisite footballl, he must have been really happy.

Terry who could play in the Carling Cup Villa match (due to the Graham Poll red card) said:

It was great for everyone to see Petr Cech at the game on Wednesday, watching us win so well. He’s looking good and he’s doing well. I’m still speaking to him everyday, and I’ve been round as well. It was such a major injury he suffered, and he’s started out well on the long road back. That was great football to help him on his way.

Boss was too happy too:

It was fantastic to see Petr in the dressing room before and after the game on Wednesday. He is still resting, but that was another stage in his recovery.

Coming back to the Watford match. Only result that can put on top of the table by Saturday night is an incredible (not impossible) 11-0 win. But still as chasers, we need to see what Man Utd does at Blackburn. Though I dont see Man Utd losing, let’s see if they drop points, after all, they drew with Reading with an equaliser.

Terry is back and I want Geremi to continue to play in the right back. He played superbly on Wednesday and assisted brilliantly for the Essien goal. Everytime Jose throws an opportunity at him, he’s made sure he grabs it with both hands. He seems to have more concentration than what I have seen in Paulo, of late. Ricardo can make way for incoming Captain John.

Joe Cole is yet to play full 90 minutes since he returned from his injury. He played well and even scored a goal in the Carling Cup match against Blackburn but that’s when he played for more than 60 minutes. I feel he needs more and more playing time than coming in at 70 minutes or something like that.

Watford are on a high after beating Mindlessbore but we have too much quality even to be bothered by them. This is just a statement of fact and not a display of arrogance. May be you’ll see the point tonight.

With Lampard and Ballack in form and Sheva scoring two goals in the last two matches he played, I dont see anything less than a 3-0 win, even if we play with 10 men.
