Not sure about his players but we are not stupid. Pires took the first penalty of the match to make it 1-0 and he was not confident about taking the second penalty. And it all sounds like Arsene never knew that such a thing would be done by his players on the pitch. I can’t imagine this happening at Chelsea.

As if this was not funny enough, Henry says that Pires’ leg was numb.

Robert’s leg went numb, but had he touched the ball, I would have been there to bury the ball.

It’s like a referee saying just before the match that he is blind!
