Sheva has thanked all the Chelsea fans for shwoing their support and keeping the faith in him. I thought I’ll just pass on his message to you all!

My first goal in Stamford Bridge is very important for me. I thank everyone in the team and I thank the people in the stadium. They have been very important for me, and today I am very happy.

Sheva was touched and felt strongly about the encouragement when the crowd was singing his name before the kick-off.

It was a great moment for one player who has changed team, changed country, changed everything. I want to play for the fans, and the big support of the fans is great.
