Jose’s second team?
Not sure how many consider this Carling cup as an important one to win. But let’s repsect it. It has been there for decades and it is a trophy. There is a lot of tradiition attached to it. We have won it three times so far including one under Jose.
We have faced Blackburn 11 times since 2001 and have won 6 drew 3 and lost 2. Earlier this season we had beaten Rovers 2-0 thanks to another one of Drogba’s wonder strike of this season.
But I wish Jose’s team similar to my team as much as possible. Let’s rest both Sheva nd Drogs considering the away leg against Barca. Obi is back after his one match ban for his stupid foul that got him a red. With Joey back and Arjen in his live wire form, I dont see SWP making a start. He should feel lucky if he plays.
Or if Jose feels so, he might play a stronger team tonight and let a no-so-stronger team face Sheffield in the weekend. If were Jose, I would play with a stronger team against Sheffield and win with a big margin.

Well, Arsenal played a division one (thanks BB for correcting) championship team and we are playing a premiership mid-table team. I would account for that.

which suggested to me that he was going to play his strongest team – however knowing Jose he wont.
Remember Chelsea kick off at Sheffield United on Saturday at 12.45pm UK time which is silly o’clock time in any country that is more than a few hours behind the UK LOL LOL.
As for Will tkae no notice – he’s a Gooner. they havent won nothing in years so let him have his piece LOL LOL
As for West Brom they are a championship side, which is the old Division one (psst not second division).

and respect the trophy we will. BC is right. We have won it under Jose and Jose will pick a team that he thinks will win tonight and will continue to pick his teams that he thinks will win the Carling Cup.
The Carling Cup is the second cup competition in the UK and some Premiership teams do like to give their youngsters a try if they feel that they havent got a chance of winning it. For example last night Sheff Utd (Premiership) lost at home to Birmingham (Championship) 3-1. West Ham lost to Chesterfield.
Arsenal played their younger players and won. Man Utd may do the same at Crewe tonight. It is all about priorities!!!
Jose is a WINNER. He will try and win EVERYTHING that is available to win – including the Carling Cup – but the Carling Cup is probably 4th on his list.
