As promised, the videos of the el clasico between Chelsea and Barcelona on 18th Oct 2006 in Stamford Bridge. These are videos chosen by me after browsing through dozens of them.
The fantastic strike by Drogba that left Barca stunned. For some reason, I felt that this goal was better than the one he scored against Liverpool in the premiership match last month. Here he beat a better defence and a better goalkeeper. His first touch was crisp and comforted himself with this second and third touches and blasts the ball past Victor Valdes.

Anyone who understands football and saw this match yesterday would say that we should have won by 2-0 or 3-0. This 10-minute highlights is a good capsule of the match but this does not show the undoing of Ronaldinho by our brilliant Boulahrouz.

For a Chelsea fan a most entertaining match the club has given so far this season.
The defence was perfect to keep the barca players out. If i was to ask a question to barca playes it would be “Hey, did anybody see the goal post where hilario was standing by”!!
Boula was perfect in stopping Ronaldinho. So is Make….
I am very happy with the way Sheva played this match with confidence.(Yes. He missed a chance, so what….)
Essien shoud have moved that ball to sheva. That would have made the score easily 2-0.
Lets go to Nou camp and thrash barca and comeback Victorious.
great goal by drogba. he is terrific given his shortcomings in skills when compared to other top strikers.

Well, i would say Barca are a very good team even without ronaldinho but they are beatable without Ronnie and very tough to beat with Ronnie. That’s what made the Wednesday night very special. The world player of the year was reduced to ‘just-another-attacking-midfielder’ by Khalid the Cannibal.
